1). How did you get started in this industry?

I am a pharmaceutical R&D chemist, and also the husband of a lovely woman, who came to me one day complaining that I was researching treatments for others, and ignoring her own skin problems. As a menopausal female she did indeed undergo skin changes. Sadly, when I reviewed the clinical literature available at the time, it became clear to me and my team of scientists, that this was an area that had never been addressed properly and that much work was required to produce meaningful topical treatments. As a result we spent long hours in our labs researching hormone deprived skin changes and we were able to develop several meaningful preparations that saved my marriage.

2). What is your star product or biggest breakthrough?

As work progressed, over the years we learned more about the biology and structure of human skin, which allowed us to make meaningful multi-functional topical preparations to treat various aging skin symptoms, including growth substances which attach themselves to receptor cells in the skin. This represents a new era in cell renewal technology and wrinkle reduction.

3). Who/What inspires you?

I am inspired by scientists who do good clinical laboratory work which offers meaning help in solving ongoing skin problems, and far less by gimmicky marketing ads.

4). Be honest, what beauty products do you use regularly other than your own?

I use Gillette Shaving Cream.

5). Imagine the future of the beauty industry and give us your prediction of what's to come.

More Growth and Stem Cell therapies, and hopefully a better understanding by the public that environment (life style, sun, alcohol, diet, sleep etc.) represent about 80% of skin aging, and the rest genetic. The environmental part needs tender care.
