Bad Packaging - 2/18/2012 3:26:31 PM I really liked the effect of this powder. However, as the main reason I was using it was the spf I could not be sure it was applying properly. You can not tell if the product is coming out. Would not buy this again.

great for acne prone skin, BUT... - 1/24/2012 10:41:22 AM I cannot use any liquid sunblock because of my crazy, acne-prone skin (and I have tried tons! Since my teens; now I'm in my early 30's.) This is the only thing I can use: it's lightweight, doesn't over dry my skin or make it oily, and doesn't make me breakout. I don't use its built-in brush (as intended) because: 1) it's difficult to make the powder to come out; 2) it can't be washed. So I have a separate brush to put on the sunblock (which I can wash as needed). When the powder is out (it can be placed on the lid of your BE foundation), its own brush can be used (but again, it cannot be wash). Yes, it's messy to take out the sunblock, especially if more than the needed product is taken out (as you have to put it back). However, it's the only thing that doesn't make me breakout (that's the reason for the 4 stars). So for now, I'm stuck with it until they improve their system or I get lucky enough to find another product that works as good or better than this. I use the one for light-tones skin, but my complexion is not white. So I can see it would be a problem to match someone's truly white complexion.

Waste of money! - 12/17/2010 7:56:30 AM I should have trusted the reviews here and not waste my money on this! The brush is smooth and soft, and design of bottle allow us to see the powder at the bottom,that 's the only thing good about this product. Like other reviewers, I can't seem to get the powder out. The color is also too dark,but I could hardly tell if I have applied enough anyway.

Terrible Product - 9/1/2009 10:45:40 AM I love bareMineral products until this thing. The idea was great but to get it to work is another story. I shaked and banged against anything just to get some powder out, still only a little tiny powder showed in the brush but not on the skin. Great invention but still need much more works to it before selling the product.

Another Disappointment from Bare Minerals - 7/28/2009 7:23:07 AM I like the Bare Minerals powders. But they can't seem to get the delivery system right. My friends who use this line all have the same complaint. Products are messy to use. In this case, I could put up with the slightly orange tint for the non-greasy powdered sun protection. The built in brush is a nice touch, but it doesn't work. The powder doesn't come out easily. You have to keep banging it on something to get the powder to come out. Bare Minerals really needs to rethink their packaging / delivery system.

Not Up To My Expectations - 5/24/2009 9:27:30 AM I did not care for this product. The color is too dark (for a light shade) and orange. It does not go on evenly or smoothly, and feels heavy. I would not buy this product again.

Better than ColoreScience!!! - 4/14/2009 10:23:09 PM Love this SPF 30 sunscreen!!! Never thought there would be a product better than ColoreScience, but this is!!! My skin is oily and this product makes it glow without shining. Plus, it stays perfect all day, even in tropical climes. Sure, it may not be waterproof, so I'll revert to ColoreScience SPF when I swim: I don't mind having a shiny face when I'm on the beach!
