love this - 6/21/2010 9:03:07 AM I recently started the Obagi skin care system in combination with Retin A (through a dermatologist), I LOVE it! The Clarisonic skin brush really improves the absorption of product and gently exfoliates the skin. I can see an amazing difference, my husband says my skin looks awesome! Cautiously optimistic - 5/31/2010 10:45:02 PM I've had the clarisonic about 3 weeks after reading so many fantastic reviews, i needed to try it for myself. I've struggled with sensitive skin, enlarged pores, and for the last few years managed to keep breakouts relatively at bay with many expensive facewashes, creams and even medication. My first use resulted in noticeably smoother and cleaner looking skin, and i have always been quite strict about my facewashing regime. I started with once a day use for the first week, and upped it to twice a day afterwards. I'm in my third week, and i definitely notice my skin breaking out (which i did expect from the purging process ); however, even with the breakouts, my skin tone in general looks much more even, and naturally glowing. Also, i've begun to notice a shrinkage in my pores, and a reduction to the oiliness of my skin (i usually have to blot twice a day) but now i don't even need to. So, i'm hoping the breakout will eventually go away so i'm sticking to the brush for now. I will write again in two months with a final evaluation. Very pleasant and easy to use, and if the purging ever ends, it will definitely merit more than 5 on 5 stars.

I love this thing! - 4/27/2010 8:42:57 PM I cannot believe the difference in my skin since I have been using the Clarisonic Skin Care System. I have received so many compliments and everyone is asking me what I am doing different. I do not use the cleanser that comes with it. I use my favorite cleanser but it still works beautifully. I gave it four stars for price because I think it is a little pricey for most. I gave it four stars for ease of use because I actually think the regular Clarisonic is a little big. I own both the regular and the Mia. I like the size if the Mia better in my hand but I really love the charger of the regular size. So...if price is an issue buy the Mia. You will still love it. But don't hesitate to get one. Your skin will show the difference.

The absolute best thing to wash your face with! - 3/31/2010 9:27:09 PM I purchased the clairisonic about one year ago, and I will never use anything else. Someone wrote a review and said that her skin broke out with pimples, blackheads and whiteheads, so she had to stop using it. This will bring any and all bacteria to the surface, but it will stop after the deep cleansing is done! Hope u give it another chance!

I really wanted to be a fan. . . . - 2/17/2010 10:41:59 PM . . . I was so excited to join the very large fan base of the Clarisonic. But unfortunately, it didn't work out for me. I noticed in my first couple of days my skins was very oily, then I noticed a lot of blackhead and whiteheads appear. Then later a few full blown zits - the cystic kind I used to get occasionally when I was in my teens and twenties. I typically don't have trouble with acne at all, so this was a surprise. In high school, I learned I couldn't wash my face twice a day or I would break out. Evidently that was the case with the Clarisonic - it was just too much for my skin 20 years later - even using it once a day, with a sensitive brush and on a low setting. I've heard so many rave reviews, but was disappointed by my personal experience. I did notice some fine lines disappeared and the overall appearance of my non acne skin did look very good. If you typically don't have very sensitive skin, and can wash it twice a day, you'll be fine and your skin will definitely be soft and glowing. But if you find over cleansing opens your skin up for all sorts of bad side effects, it's probably best to avoid this product. Again, I really was excited to be a fan and am disappointed it didn't work out for me.

I wanted to not like it but.... - 1/5/2010 10:16:32 AM When my Clarisonic arrived, I kept the box it came in just in case I did not like it. I wanted to not like it because it is slightly expensive and I thought do I really NEED this? Well after trying it every day for a week or so, I really love it. I too have joined the Clarisonic fan club. In the winter my skin becomes a nightmare. I have normal to dry, sensitive skin but an oily t-zone and large pores. My skin gets so dry it is flaky around my nose. Just after a few days, I have noticed an improvement in my skin condition. The flaky skin is gone. My skin feels like a baby's bottom and is so smooth. My skin absorbs my treatments and moisturizer quicker and the pores on my nose appear minimized. I was worried that since my skin is fair and sensitive I should not use it every night but I have not had issues with irritation or been overscrubbed. (I only use it once a day with the Fresh soy cleanser). In addition, I love that it feels like a spa like treatment as you are washing your face. It is such a nice way to relax after a long day. For me, this product delivers on what it is meant to do and I will tell my family and friends about it as well.

You Get What You Pay For - 12/30/2009 6:16:28 AM Undoubtedly, this is pricey. Is it worth it? Absolutely! It is the equivalent in cost of 2-3 deep facials, yet my skin now feels as if I have had one every single day - without the tell-tale extraction marks. My face has not looked this alive in several years. I now have color in my cheeks, my pores have noticeably reduced in size and are completely unclogged, my fine lines are no longer on the verge of full-blown wrinkles, my skin is SOFT to the touch, and, most importantly, my face has a luminous glow to it - like in my (early) 20's. I tend to be a bit "frugal" and have teetered on this purchase for quite some time, but I am beyond satisfied. Bottom line...try it! It comes with a satisfaction guarantee. (Sorry for the lengthy review.)
