As brushes are the primary tools for painters, likewise, brushes are your primary beauty tools, and your face is the canvas. Brushes to consider for your eyes include a flat stiff brush, a stiff or soft dome brush and a pencil brush; for your face, consider a stippling brush, a contour brush, an angled brush for blush and a highlighter brush. For lips, look for a brush that features strong, slightly stiff bristles. Just be sure that the size of the brush matches the size of the area you’re working on, and the shape, whether it be rounded, flat, wedged, contoured or angled, matches the desired effect you’d like to achieve.
