Helps clear my skin gently - 2/19/2012 5:55:32 PM In Dec, I have been using the decleor Ylang Ylang aroma essence oil for 7 weeks and the Ylang Ylang night balm for about almost 3 weeks. I think they have helped healed my cystic acne and decongested my skin. I first used the Ylang Ylang aromaessnce oil when my white head pimples got worse and became cystic acne along the sides of my face.( I suspected it could be my hair and have kept them away from my face since.) I tried many pimples creams to no avail, and I decided to try Decleor Aromaessence oil. It was great - absorb quickly and didn't make my pimples worse. but because I was using it day and night, by the end of two weeks, I was already one-third through the bottle. It was then I decided to get the night balm as well after reading the good reviews, and because the oil seem to be working well and didn't break me out. It might take time to see results but all my acne has healed and *fingers crossed* i don't seem to see any major ones erupting. I would say give it at 4-6 weeks to see results. Do take time to warm the oil/balm in your palm before putting them on your face as they seem to absorb better into your skin that way. The oil absorb really quickly, but the balm may feel a tad 'oily/sticky' still, but it doesn't clog up my skin and the oiliness/sticky feeling is gone in the morning. I do not, unfortunately, wake up to glowing skin as some users experienced. Maybe because it's winter now, and because I do not use a moisturizer on top of the balm, my skin does look a tad dry in the morning. However, my skin does look and feel clearer. Not sure whether it is my imagination. But at least, after 3 weeks of using these 2 products together, my acne cleared up. Lots of people say it will last a long time, but i'm not so sure about that! At first, i only had the essence oil and used two drops day and night. By two weeks, one-third of the bottle was gone! But after I bought the balm and use it only once a day in the morning, it looks like it will last me another 1 and a half months at least. As for the balm, i have used it for almost 3 weeks now, and i have used up maybe 20% of it. I don't know if I'm using too much! From the looks of what's left in the jar, I think it might last be another 2 months, so that means maybe 3 months in total. That to me is kind of average. That said, I will recommend this to people with acne. It's gentle n help to clear up your skin. But I think you must also do your other regular stuff like use a clay mask and/or scrub once or twice weekly, and dot on a pimple cream. ( i use this together with Neutrogena salicylic acid pimple gel. Using the gel on it's own didn't clear up my pimples so i'm pretty sure the Ylang Ylang products help very much.) I will continue to use this!

Awesome product! - 1/22/2012 11:46:48 AM It is difficult to find a tightening serum that also hydrates sufficiently. If your problem is more bags and eye puffiness as opposed to lines, then this is the product for you. Bags reduce visibly immediately, and after about a week they are practically gone. The skin around your eyes looks fresh and hydrated. The only drawback is that the pump dispenses too much serum, so you go through the bottle more quickly than you need to. However, I don't waste it; I've been applying the excess to my throat and neck with excellent results!

Fantastic for sensitive skin - 1/15/2012 10:13:48 PM I have been using this product exclusively since 2000 and was horrified a few years ago when Decleor reformulated the one moisturizer that my extremely sensitive skin could tolerate. Initially I disliked the new product, particularly the scent. However, I soon realized that it is a much better product than the original. I still miss the amazing (lighter) scent of the original, but this product has been amazing at keeping my skin looking and feeling great.

Nice, but not for me - 1/6/2012 7:27:36 AM At the outset, I will say that I have used Decleor products exclusively for over 10 years and love them. However, I have extremely sensitive skin and must be very selective about what I use. I've used 2 other Decleor eye gels/creams for years, but at age 51 thought that I wanted to try something with greater anti-aging properties. I was very pleased with the packaging, texture and scent of this product, but after 3 days of use found that it did not work well for my highly sensitive skin. No major problem, but probably some of the ingredients that do exactly what I wanted (plumping, etc.) were just too much for my skin. I did return it, but this is the first time I've returned a Decleor product, ever. I'm sure that for someone with less sensitized skin it would be perfect.

Jury's still out.... - 11/23/2011 3:17:24 PM I love Decleor products and after reading so many positive reviews here and elsewhere, I decided to give this balm a try about 8 weeks ago. I enjoy the smell (more herbal than flowery) and like the ritual of putting it on at night, but I haven't experienced the "wonder" benefits that others have. No ill effects, but it's not rocking my world either. I will finish out the jar (a little goes a long way, so it'll probably last me another 4+ months), but I am not sure I'd buy it again.
