Prefer Mela D Cream - 11/18/2009 8:10:11 AM I prefer the Mela D Cream..a drop of this is too much for spot treatment, it is tacky and not worth the additional cost vs. cream. Hard to travel with this bottle as well.

Mostly good - 10/22/2009 5:54:23 PM Goes on smoothly, but I noticed that it forms little rolls of flecks that I have to brush off if it comes into contact with other products around my eyes. Not sure if I will purchase again but it does do the job of protection. My skin is in very good shape so I know that it isn't flecks of dry skin. It's the product.

Doesn't pass the smell test - 10/15/2009 8:15:12 PM OMG, the fragance is too strong...I didn't see much difference but it didn't get my skin red. In any case, it doesn't matter if it is good or bad because I cannot tolerate the smell... too bad because I really like La Roche-Posay products (Active C is great)

Beware...stains white clothing yellow - 10/15/2009 8:21:16 AM I have used many sunscreen products in the Anthelios line. Mostly with Mexoryl. Decided to try this product while in Africa...unfortunately stained white clothing yellow. I still cannot get the stains out. Use caution.

I'm one of the few for whom this didn't work out - 10/11/2009 9:06:12 AM I purchased this based on the great reviews, but I must have one of the rare skin types for which this cleanser doesn't work out. Let's start with the pros... A teensy bit goes a very long way. You can seriously use a tiny drop the size of about 1/3 of a Tic Tac and it lathers into a very rich foam. So it has a good value because one bottle will last a very long time. Another pro is that it didn't cause me to break out at all. On to the cons... although I love how easily this lathers, it felt like it left a film on my face. I think some people like this "squeaky clean" feeling, but to me it feels like there's a film all over my face no matter how much I rinse and rinse. Surprisingly, this actually irritates my skin. I'm used to using another cleanser you can buy on Skinstore.com (Avene Cleanance Soap-Free Gel Cleanser-- which I LOVE), but I experimented with the Toleriane cleanser based on the high reviews. Unfortunately it irriates my skin to the point of burning it a little, and my face just doesn't feel clean after using it. It is also one of only two cleansing products I've used in my entire life that burns my eyes if I accidentally get any in them. (I've been washing my face for several decades and I'm careful not to get cleanser in my eyes, but even with washing my face the same way I always do, this one tends to burn my eyes as well as my skin.) Anyway, lots of other reviewers love it, so this might be worth a try, but for me it was a big disappointment. I'm going back to using the Avene Cleanance Soap-Free Gel Cleanser as soon as this Toleriane cleanser runs out (which may be a lonnnng time since the Toleriane lasts so long!).

best anti wrinkle eye treatment - 9/23/2009 7:49:40 PM i have been using this line for 2 years at least, it is sold in high end facial salons. my plactic surgeon said give it a try. i love this product, but here is a hint i put it on and also an eye craam, this product is for a wrinkle fill in so people who complained maybe needed to add eye cream. i have tried the crazy expensive- this is the real deal

LOVE IT - - 9/20/2009 11:14:11 AM Currently my favorite cleanser. Works great on makeup and I just love the way it feels on my face. I have extreme sensitive skin w/roseaca and this doesn't irriate my skin in any way.

Great value for the face - 9/19/2009 9:44:12 AM I use this only on my face as a daily moisturizer, which actually makes it a great value for a high-quality product. The large tube will last a very long time. It is very smooth and non-greasy. It doesn't irritate my skin or clog pores. I give it a few minutes to soak in before applying makeup. W/O makeup skin is a bit shiny.
