Your eyes and the sensitive skin surrounding them are among the most delicate yet expressive parts of your face. They also tend to readily betray weariness, age, stress, and any number of other inevitable factors. Our normal aging process often rings the eyes with wrinkles, deep-set creases, and crow’s-foot lines. Everything from insomnia to overwork and general emotional exhaustion commonly translates into dark-patched, puffy, or reddened eyes. In such a state—triggered by aspects of life that are absolutely unavoidable and understandable—it’s difficult to project your normal confidence and vigor; you instead feel enervated and irritable. Hearing from friends and co-workers alike the observation “You look tired!” certainly doesn’t help.
