The formulas of MOR Bath and Body soaps are based on the African oil palm (Elaeis guiensis), a tall, stately palm that grows up to 60 feet in height and flowers in dense clusters. Native to an area from Angola to Gambia, the tree yields plum-sized fruit. A wonderfully moisturizing oil is pressed from the pulp and the kernels. MOR Bath and Body also adds shea butter, made from the fruit of the African karite tree (Vitellaria paradoxa).

The formula demands that they are triple milled: After the soap is made, it is dried into crystals, which are then rolled at least 3 times between large stainless steel rollers, in a process known as “French milling.” The still-moist purified soap is then pressed into the signature MOR Bath and Body bar.
