I like MdForte products. Used them for years now, they do work. Since I use all the other Forte products with the acid in it, I felt I needed the protection and I was being loyal to the brand. Even the dermatologist said I may not like this particular MD product, although she suggest the line.
It worked against the sun in Mexico, Fl, Carribean, however it is a very greasy product, shows the white if not well rubbed in. That is the zinc in the product I believe. I showed no allergy to it, I am allergic to many. That is probably the only reason I stuck with it. My skin was soft, no break outs if you wash after the beach... I would not wear with make up.

I tried this based on a reviewer's opinion that it didn't make her skin oily or cause her makeup to get shiny. Maybe I'm oilier than her, because I found this sunscreen slow to absorb, it leaves little white particles over my face, and makes me very, very shiny and oily after only a couple of hours, despite using a mattifying primer over it. I'm going back to Cellex-C's sunblock for oily skin.

First day using it, and i'm amazed at how well it feels under makeup. started using it due to starting with retinol at 32 (LOVE Afirm!) and it feels like im using - nothing. My slightly oily skin soaked it up after a few minutes, and 6 hrs later my heavy makeup is not even shiny. Cant beat that!
