For the Fairest Skin Only! - 6/15/2007 10:22:57 PM I am unusually fair-skinned and this is one of the only foundations that is light enough for me without looking like a mask. Instead, I look airbrushed. This foundation doesn't last all day, but it does last about 6-7 hours, and I look like a porcelain doll the entire time!

Oily skin: Beware! - 5/7/2006 11:38:14 AM I was so excited after hearing about this product that I couldn't wait to try it. However, I was very, very disappointed. Within an hour of applying this product, I was actually watching it slide slowly off my face. Wearing the J.I. oil controll product before applying the liquid did not help at all. Nor did using the matte finishing powder. Because these products are so expensive and I was so hopeful after all the hype, I experimented using them any which way I could think of, but the result was always the same--within a very short time after applying I looked like a glowing blob whose mineral face slowly slid off the real.

Apply Liquid Minerals with the Foundation Brush. The first few pumps will release a clear gel. This is Aloe Vera. Rub it into your hands; it's good for them. Two pumps of Liquid Minerals on the back of your hand are usually enough to cover most of your face. Pick it up with the dry Foundation Brush for a heavier coverage. Wet the brush for a more sheer coverage. Brush Amazing Base or PurePressed Base on top of Liquid Minerals for broad-spectrum sun protection.
