This product is designed to perform two primary functions:
- Prepares the skin to help avoid hyperpigmentation following laser treatments, peels, and other skin care treatments that might cause darkening of the skin.
- Works in conjunction with Lightening Gel to help eliminate hyperpigmentation.
Lightening Cleanser is formulated with a special amino acid complex to help suppress melanin production and is especially beneficial for individuals susceptible to hyperpigmentation and those having undergone laser resurfacing procedures.
Gammaamino butyric acid, or GABA, is a featured ingredient in Lightening Cleanser and helps reduce the production of free-radicals. If not enough GABA is being produced, the skin can respond to free-radical stresses by developing melanin and causing hyperpigmentation.
Directions For Use:
Use twice daily on affected areas. Rinse skin, massage and remove with water. May be used before and after laser resurfacing or microdermabrasion, continue 1-2 weeks post-op.
