Exfoliate the skin before application. Apply cream to desired area and evenly blend into skin. Wash your hands after application. Wipe excess from the eyebrows, knees, elbows, around toe nails and finger nails. Wear dark clothes the day of application. Be aware that the golden tone that the self-tanners provide has nothing to do with melanin production. It means that high protection will still be necessary when going in the sun. "
