Before I found this product, I was hoping that the whole retinol thing was a major hoax. With this serum, my skin did not break out in cystic acne, flake off, or become lobster red. It was the most gentle purge I've ever experienced with a retinol product. I use it twice a week (alternating with Gentle Solution) and it has lasted a full six months. I routinely get compliments on my skin, which has never happened. You do need a SPF 30 or higher! Fantastic!

I'm not one to use a lot of products & I like my regimen to be simple. In the past 3 years I've experienced breakouts and as a result discoloration. I use this product 2X/week along with the Arcona youth serum & Night Breeze. All three have kept me from breaking out and have decreased the redness & discoloration. I particularly like the Vitamin A Complex because it smoothes my skin and appears to brighten my face - like I have a glow.

This is my second bottle. Works better than any retinol product ever used(used skinceuticals,skin medic a)doesn't dry the skin or irritate it. Also works well for wrinkles and clearing blackheads.
