This gentle and effective cleanser contains 5% liquid Benzoyl Peroxide to provide antibacterial action. Formulated with the antioxidant, polyhydroxy acid (PHA) Gluconolactone, this product is capable of chelating metals and scavenging free radicals, thereby protecting skin from the damaging effects of UV radiation. Gluconolactone also provides gentle exfoliation of surface cell buildup to minimize impactions.

Seen a big improvement - 12/19/2011 1:44:50 PM I finally had enough and talked to my doctor about my hormonal breakouts. She suggested birth control again, but I wanted to see if something topical would help instead. I have been using this cleanser twice a day, after I wipe my face clean with a makeup wipe, and the clarisonic mia (sensitive head). It has really cleared up my face. Before this cleanser arrived I was just using proactiv (which has 2.5% bp) and my rx topical antibiotic which helped somewhat but not anything drastic. I have sensitive skin and this is really lightweight and non-greasy. My only complain is it doesn't seem to grab onto the skin's surface, imagine putting a thick jelly on your face. It also doesn't lather well, but it works so it must stay on my face somehow.

Best Acne cleanser ever! - 3/11/2011 6:29:36 PM I've been using PCA skin care for about 2 years now. I use the oily skin wash to remove my makeup and follow up with the BPO cleanser on my T-zone and problem areas. Pat dry. And then apply the Clearskin. Religiously twice a day these 3 products make my skin almost perfect. I love PCA skin care! I'm 38 and peaople tell me I look 28. When you take care of your skin it shows. I still get the occasional hormonal breakout, so I spot treat with the acne cream. If I do get a "flaw", it's gone in 24 hrs. And Skinstore is by far the best to order from, quick delivery every time.

Apply a dime-sized amount to damp skin and massage into a light foaming lather. Wash in a gentle circular motion. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Follow with the appropriate PCA SKIN toner, treatment serums and broad spectrum SPF product in the daytime and antibacterial hydrator in the evening.
