Teenager and Mom Review - 1/10/2012 2:23:18 PM I am age 50 and my daughter is 15. I bought the Clarisonic mostly to help my daughter who is pimple prone despite dermatology treatment. Of course, I use it too. After about a month, my daughter has used the deep pore brush (with her usual face wash) but it has not resolved her acne problem at all. Too bad because I hoped it would at least help but honestly it did not. I have used the sensitive skin brush and have found it completely cleared the rashiness I always got around my jawline and some bumps near my brow. I see a 25%-30% improvement in skin and go without makeup on the weekends. I appreciated trying the small Clarisonic samples and they are nice but I found a great cleansing product called Aquanil by Person and Covey which works wonderfully and is much cheaper. I knew about the company as my derm doctor recommended their hand cream for my very dry hands. I still use a gentle scrub to wash most of my makeup off before using the Clarisonic with the Aquanil. So, it is nice for more mature skin but did not help a teen with oily, pimple prone skin. I really love this brush and use it once a day with my nightly shower before bed.

Did not help my blackheads - 12/20/2011 8:08:20 PM I had such high hopes for this product, especially after reading all the rave reviews. Ever since my teenage years, I've had lots and lots of blackheads on my nose, face next to nose area, chin, and forehead. My pores are also super large. Other than going for a facial every 2 weeks, nothing has helped, and that is more expensive than I can afford, so I decided to pay for this product in hopes that it'll be worth it in the long run. I've been using the Clarisonic Plus for about 3 weeks now. It definitely helps keep my skin clean. However, I have not noticed any difference in reducing pore size or clearing out blackheads. The big black dots still plague me!!

I feel my face doesn't absorb the cream and can easily get dry and red patches. After using it for only twice, i found my face could never be smoother and absorb cream easily. I could not stop touch my face as it is sooooo soft!!!!

directions for use for Clarisonic PLUS Skin Care System with Deep Pore Cleansing - Blue

Prior to the first use, charge the Clarisonic for 24 hours.

If you wear makeup, remove eye makeup by hand.

Wet your skin and the brush head with warm water. Liberally apply cleanser to your skin or to the brush head. Push the power button to turn your Clarisonic on and gently move the brush using a small circular motion, beginning on the forehead, then moving to the nose/chin area and the cheeks at the T-TIMER prompts.

Pressing too hard will impede the motion of the brush and reduce its effectiveness. The outer brushes are designed to contain any residual mist from the brush oscillation, so be sure to hold the brush head flush to your skin.

The Clarisonic PLUS also comes with a Body Brush Head. When the Body Brush Head is attached, the Clarisonic Smart Handle automatically initiates body mode (constant or pulse). The Body Brush Head is not for use on the face.

The Clarisonic is waterproof and may be used in the shower or bathtub. Refer to important safeguards regarding the charging cradle.
