The major component of Glycolic Exfoliating Gel is Glycolic Acid. Glycolic Acid is a thorough exfoliator capable of penetrating into the deeper layers of the skin to increase the rate of dead cell shedding, new skin cell production, and collagen formation. With prolonged use, Glycolic Acid has been found to be beneficial in improving dry skin, treating age spots, improving oily and acne prone skin, and diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. In conjunction with BENEV Salicylic Acid Exfoliator, Glycolic Exfoliating Gel works to remove the outer layers of thickened and damaged skin, leaving a skin feeling smooth and looking healthy.
Directions For Use:
Place product on the skin with a cotton ball. Let it stay on the skin for no more than two minutes, then rinse with taped water.

In the ad copy it says, " The major component of Glycolic Exfoliating Gel is Glycolic Acid." In the ingredients, the first item is water--that's the major component. Product is only 7.5% glycolic acid, that's not major... but it sounds better than $22/oz for water.
