Perfect!!!!! - 6/27/2011 9:23:09 AM I LOOOOOVE this product!! It does exactly what it claims to do: it mattifies, brightens and protects against sun damage. I love that it has such a high spf (I live in Denver so it's very important). My skin is oily, especially in the heat of the summer, and this makes my skin look matte and holds up very well in the heat. It evens out my skin tone and lessens the look of imperfections. It layers well under makeup too. There is no white cast even though it contains titanium dioxide. I have also tried Dr. Brandt's UV SPF 30 and Skinceuticals's Sheer Physical UV Defense and this product is hands down THE BEST!! I would note that this product doesn't claim to be a moisturizer. Those with dry skin might want to use their regular moisturizer first.

More than Just a Sunscreen & Good for Your Skin! - 2/1/2011 4:52:05 PM I love this L'Occitane Immortelle Very Precious Fluid SPF 40. Its not thick or gummy or chalky. Its not too matte or shiny. It doesn't burn my skin or clog my pores. It glides on clean; smooth and light. I am 50 and have sensitive skin; I am active outdoors and live in the high altitude southwest (dry; hot; sunny) so I use it daily on top of my normal moisturizer. A drop or two is all you need. A little bit goes a long way. This fluid gives my skin a luminescent glow and covers or minimizes the minor skin imperfections that I have. I dont use or need any foundation or powder. I have literally been stopped on the street (by women younger than me) and asked about my glowing skin. I will note that I am a blue eyed; blonde; Caucasian but I think this fluid would blend with any skin tone but not sure if it would be too light so I guess you would just have to experiment. I also use most all of the Immortelle product line and believe it helps my skin look young and fresh.

- 10/19/2010 8:21:50 PM If this was moisturizing as well it'd get 5 stars, but apart from that this is a great sunscreen as it doesn't leave a white cast and my makeup goes on smoothly over the top. The pump does tend to get clogged easily, which is surprising as the consistency of the product is quite runny.
