Have used this facial cleanser for a few years now, and am thrilled with it. Leaves my combination skin feeling thoroughly clean (and smooth) -- never stripped or "tight." I work in cosmetics sales and have access to many high-end facial cleansers, but I -- and many of my co-workers (even those with dry skin) -- prefer this Aveeno cleanser. I'm constantly recommending it to clients. Have tried other (much more expensive) facial cleansers from time to time, but start to get little break-outs after a few weeks of use. I didn't realize just how much the Aveeno cleanser's small percentage of salicylic acid was responsible for keeping my skin break-out free. After going back to the Aveeno, my skin clears up again in just a couple of days.
Also, the easy-to-use pump dispenser is a plus. But now that the bottle notes "salicylic acid acne treatment" on it, I think those with normal skin may think it's too harsh. If so, they'd be missing out on an all-around great thorough-but-gentle facial cleanser!
