Use with CAUTION - 11/28/2008 7:42:35 PM I am 19 years old with fair combination/dry skin (confusing I know, but possible) and I had used been using this product for about 9 months before I went on a vacation this summer. On my vacation I went from a hot, humid, sunny climate to a cold, dry climate and my skin freaked out. I broke out and then my skin dried out and nothing I did seemed to make it less dry, then i developed these dry discolored patches of skin on my cheeks in two places, one of them about the size of a quarter, and I decided to use this cleanser (I used it weekly)to try to exfoliate away the dry patches. I left it on for some time hoping it would exfoliate better, no longer than 7 mins, and I felt some stinging so I went to wash it off, when it was all washed off my face was BLEEDING where the two dry discolored patches had been! I had literally BURNED them off with the glycolic acid in this cleanser! who knew it was so strong? Needless to say I was devastated, and to top things off my cousins wedding was in 3 days, and for the next week and a half I walked around with SCABS on BOTH SIDES OF MY FACE! NOTHING can cover that up! BE CAREFUL WITH THIS CLEANSER! IF you have sensitve skin USE IT WITH CAUTION and NEVER leave it on your skin! I can only hope my warning spares some people's faces, because I know I am not the only person who has left a glycolic acid cleanser on their face to exfoliate extra, just the only one I know of who burned themselves.

Made it worse... - 4/25/2008 5:58:07 PM I 'm in my late 20s and use to have combination skin with blackheads on my nose. Because my t-zone is oily and I get occasional pimples (1 or 2 a month), I decided to try this. Unfortunately, after using this, it made my face very oily, so oily that I am constantly blotting away. When I went in for a facial recently, the aesthetician told me that my skin has become really rough and dry although it looks super oily because it's trying to compensate for the dryness, this is before I said anything about the products I use. A month before that, I had a facial at a different place and the aesthetician there also told me that my skin was dry. I'm switching to a gentle milk cleasner!
