Achieve exceptionally smooth and soft skin. This gentle soap free cleanser removes makeup and surface debris. Excellent for acne prone skin, particularly in areas where shaving seems to bring about acne eruptions, such as face and legs. Most beneficial when used with M.D. Forte leave-on Glycolic Acid based products.
Benefits:
- Contains 12% Glycolic Compound.
- Non-comedogenic.
- Dermatologist tested.
Level I is ideal for those who have sensitive skin or are just beginning a Glycolic Acid-based skin care regimen.
Please Note:
Glycolic Compound is a complex, pH-balanced mixture of glycolic acid, ammonium glycolate, purified water, and higher-molecular-weight oligomers of glycolic acid, with an approximate activity level of 60%, and is designated on product labels as the ingredients "glycolic acid" and "ammonium glycolate."

RN - What's your age again? I think I have the wrong patient...

I've been a RN for almost twenty years. Recently another RN came to me and asked that I go in to a patient room at our hospital and double check a patient's ID band for her. She told me the woman she was admitting was 57. When I walked in I understood her questioning attitude and explained to the patient that there may be a mix up. I cross-checked the ID band with the patient's medical record number and date of birth and soon the patient began to chuckle. I asked her to state her name for me and she indeed was the right patient. I complimented her on her skin and asked if it would be too personal for me to ask her what skin care regimen she used. "This stuff", she said as she pulled her MD Forte supplies from her overnight bag. I thanked her and made sure she knew that we were only double checking because we thought that she looked to be 30 - tops! It was obvious that she took the whole situation as a huge compliment. Since then, this has only happened two other times. Both times the patient's were MD Forte users. That was all I needed. The next week I was at the dermatologists for my initial exam and purchased my first MD Forte products. You don't have to go see a dermatologist prior to starting the regimen but I think it was a good first step as they told me which products would be best for my skin type. It does take some getting used to since the cleanser is non-foaming and doesn't smell soapy but once you make it a daily habit it is SO worth it!

Not Very Pleased

I ordered this cleanser with too high of hopes I think. It said this cleanser was "soap free," but I have never tried one that was soap free so I didn't know what to expect. I did not like the feeling of this cleanser, it did not soap up, so I did not feel like it was cleaning my face, it felt like I was washing my face with lotion. After cleansing, I used toner, and I still had SO MUCh dirt on my face still, and I don't even wear face make-up. It might work for some people, but wasn't a good one for me.
