The natural cleansing action of oil and water was discovered and combined by Dr. Michael Babor almost 50 years ago. He invented the hydrophilic (i.e.water-loving) oil and patented it under the name by which this unique, unmatched product is still known today: HY-ÖL®.

Directions For Use: Apply BABOR HY-OL (without any added moisture) to the skin to cleanse it gently and deeply and remove any oil-soluble impurities. Next, apply the appropriate phytoactive for your skin type. The phytoactive contains precious herbal essences to provide extra moisture for the skin.

BABOR HY-OIL Cleanser is a two step process. You must combine HY-OIL with a Phytoactive, appropriate for your skin type, when cleansing.

Have used for years - 8/29/2011 11:34:22 AM I have been using Hy-oil with the phytoactive base for years--I love it. It removes makeup easily and keeps your skin from ever feeling dried out. I remove my mascara and eyeshadow with the hy-oil. Then I mix the hy-oil with the phytoactive base and put it on my face and lightly rub it in. Then I rinse it off, put on my moisturizer, and go to bed. It is great.

directions for use for BABOR Hy-Ol Cleanser

Phase 1: Apply BABOR HY-ÖL® to the skin (do not moisten the skin beforehand) and massage in gently to remove any oil-soluble particles, make-up and excess sebum. Apply the appropriate Phytoactive on top and blend with the HY-OL.

Phase 2: Moisten your fingertips with cool water and emulsify the HY-OL and Phytoactive until a milky emulsion is formed. Remove with cool water.

To remove eye and lip make-up, we recommend that you pour a little HY-OL onto a cotton pad and gently wipe off the make-up.
