Wished performed better - 1/28/2012 8:56:01 AM Product good against mild acne and for those with normal to dry skin, but did nothing to alleviate my cystic acne. Had to revert back to Clean & Clear (contains salycilic acid, too) for spot treatment. My face felt slightly oily after a few hours and this is in the middle of winter. Don't think I'll be able to use in summer during day. What it does do well is keep my skin smoother and helps with anti-aging. This is because of the retinol product, though, so may just purchase that in future. Found the acne treatment with the sulfur did absolutely NOTHING. Cleanser ok, but doubtful will combat my oily skin in summer. May have to revert to my Dead Sea Soap that balances my face's ph better.

Worked for me! - 1/6/2012 6:10:27 PM So I've been using this product for about 3 weeks and I'm totally hooked! I have struggled with inflamed acne for 15 years (I'm 27). I used a popular benzyl peroxide based product for about 5 years, when I found it was beginning to be ineffective. Plus, I was sick of it bleaching everything. I switched to some over the counter drug store brand (that says they are the most dermatologist recommended) and I ended up with a chemical burn on my face. So I was very hesitant to use a product with chemicals I've never used on my face before (retinol). But after 3 weeks, I am a total believer. It won't work for everyone, as it depends on the type of acne you have and what chemicals your skin responds to. The active acne-treating ingredients are salicylic acid (0.5%), sulfur (spot treatment), and retinol (lotion). In my research, I found out that Retin-A was actually invented to treat acne and the anti-aging properties were just a bonus. Now it seems it's only marketed towards wrinkles. Who knew?? But it totally worked for me. I wish I'd have taken before and after pictures - but I had no idea my skin would be this clear in such a short amount of time! I can't remember the last time my skin was this clear. The only complaints I have: the spot treatment doesn't really work for me and my boyfriend says my face smells funny when he kisses me after I use it. They sell a 30-day package for a trial, I recommend that to see how it works. I was also VERY pleased with skinstore. I ordered it on a Wednesday and I had it by Friday. The Philosophy site takes like 10 days!

Cystic acne cure - 9/9/2011 5:34:41 PM I suffered from painful cystic acne on my chin for years after having my first child. Nothing seemed to help until I started using this kit. I have very sensitive skin. I have seen such amazing results. It took about 4 weeks before all my cystic acne healed, and I haven't had more then a couple of breakouts since I started using this product over 6 months ago. Amazing products!!! Will not use anything else!!!

not actually oil-free> don't use if acne-prone - 2/16/2011 9:37:41 AM I tried this one because I ran a search for oil-free moisturizers- this came up. I combed through the ingredients looking for a bunch of other irritants/comedogenics, and found very few, so I ordered it. When I opened it, it had a heavy lavender smell, and as I remember checking the ingredients for fragrance, I was confused. Turned out to contain lavender oil. (why it was listed under "oil-free, I don't know). Lavender oil is naturally anti-bacterial, but NOT something to put on your face if you are acne prone!

Amazing Product - 10/22/2010 12:26:24 PM I love, love, love this stuff and will most likely use it til the day I die. It has made my pores smaller, helped with fine lines and i break out much less in my t-zone area (never had major problems with acne, just some break outs here and ther). I would recommend this product to anyone.

Get it! - 8/24/2010 9:48:07 AM I've been using this for the past 2 years and will never buy another acne system again (and believe me, I've tried them all)! I've had acne for 15 years and NOTHING worked. Creams, gels, pills, you name it...my dermo Doc can't even hold a candle to this stuff. One piece of advice: you have to use the whole "On a Clear Day" line and you have to use it for at least 6 weeks to see results. Hang in there cuz your skin will get worse before it gets better. TRUST ME...the end result will be worth it! You can find everything in one kit elsewhere, but regardless of how or where you buy it, the essentials are the foaming cleanser, the all over acne treatment, the spot treatment, and the rentinol.

Made My Acne Worse :( - 7/6/2010 12:52:07 PM This product made my acne worse by giving me cystic acne as well as white heads all over the areas applied. I initially used the product for 3 weeks. At first I thought it was my skin purging, but it progressively got worse so I stopped using it. However, I gave it another try after 2 weeks and same result. I stopped using it after that. (FYI, I started off with half a pea size amount then increased to a pea size amount- a little goes a long way.)

clear, no tint. works right away - 4/30/2010 12:05:09 PM I love the fact that there is no tint to this product and therefore you don't have to worry about any color showing and it blends in with other moisturizers I may be using. I am very happy with these products and I hope with continued use I can keep blemishes and milia under control. So far it is working.
