Gentle for someone with sensitive skin! - 1/13/2012 9:04:37 AM Love the Panoxyl 4! A pharmacist recommended this product to me after several years of using a doctor's prescribed benzoyl peroxide 5% wash. The Panoxyl is as gentle and does the work of the prescription "medicine". I have sensitive, combination skin. This product is soothing, doesn't make me overly dry, nor does it make me red. I accompany the panoxyl with the Stiefel's SFC (soft free cleanser) for a really smooth, soft feeling. I finally love my skin!

Finally Found It Again - 12/27/2011 1:25:48 PM I started using this product when I found it in a local store. I liked the way it worked even on my oily skin & it was very convenient to use in the shower. Then I could no longer find it in ANY local stores so I went online & thankfully found skinstore.com. I am able to purchase this product again. I tried the PanOxyl 10% face wash in the tube, the thick cream stuff, but it was very harsh on my skin. Thank You skinstore.com for providing the product I have grown fond of using. I have found too many of the products I use & have used for a very long time either no longer carried in local stores or discontinued by the manufacturer. I am so glad the PanOxyl 10% bar soap is still available from your store. The price is less than I was paying locally & it arrived quickly. Thanks Again..........

Best face wash I have used yet - 4/7/2011 6:48:43 PM I have been using this product for several years now. I initially started using this product because my skin was always bumpy. I didn't suffer from acne but I had a lot of pimples and very oily skin. I read somewhere that to treat unclear skin, benzoyl peroxide is the active ingredient to look for. So I started with a facial wash that had a small percentage and it worked slightly but not completely. I stumbled upon this product at a local grocery store and found it to be 10% benzoyl peroxide, which is the strongest you can buy without a prescription. I hesitated based on the cost, but took the risk. It worked fabulously! I have been using it ever since and have no complaints. On occasion, I have run out and the store I buy it from doesn't have it in stock so I am forced to use an alternative. Immediately, my skin breaks out in bumps again. So I have learned never to run out! I would highly recommend this product to anyone struggling with a bumpy complexion. I believe it will even clear acne, too.

Best soap for acne/oily skin - 10/21/2010 5:50:38 AM This is the BEST product on the planet for acne/oily skin. I"m 46 with very thick, oily olive skin and I have been using this product for decades. Nothing compares to its skin-clearing abilities. The clean scent (or lack of scent actually) is wonderful. It lathers well and is worth every penny! If you have an oily chest/back it is perfect in the shower. Try it and you will never go back to other acne cleaners/soaps.

A-MAZING product! - 6/4/2010 2:44:16 PM I have used just about every acne product on the market, from Biomedic and DDF to Neutrogena, and this is the FIRST product I have used that actually works. I have severe, cystic acne that is not only ugly but painful. I started using this product about four weeks ago and have not had a breakout since. It does not dry out the skin, and I only use it at night before bed. And for five bucks? By FAR the best five dollars I have EVER spent.

Great product for acne treatment - 5/19/2010 11:01:08 AM I absolutely love this product. I have sensitive skin and this product worked really well on clearing my acne and preventing it from coming back. I couldn't use it everyday, because it was too drying even if I used a moisturizer with it. I would use it maybe once or twice a week when my face felt oily or I had a couple spots show up. This product cannot be used around the eye area at all! So, don't use it for removing your makeup! It will dry your skin out and possibly burn the skin around your eye-which happened to me. However, I still use it and love that it keeps my skin clear.

Panoxyl gel - 12/12/2008 5:54:29 PM I have tried many products for my acne but I had an allergic reaction to many and others did absolutely nothing my friend told me about the Panoxyl soap but that didn't work and then one day I saw the gel and bought it and loved it but now for some reason I can't find it in anywhere so I order online I hope that this product never discontinues.

Its AMAZING! - 12/4/2008 4:29:05 AM My skin has never looked better because of PanOxyl, I have used just about every acne treatment available at a drug store and NOTHING compares to this. Yes, it is a little drying but I dont mind having to moisturize a little more. It got rid of the oil on my face and kept my skin clear. This is a GREAT product!

Efficient - 12/2/2008 4:31:47 AM I am trying to get pregnant therefore I am limited in treatment options for my moderate adult acne. The only thing that has really made a remarkable difference in clearing my skin is my home treatments of salicylic acid facial peels (20%), which I do about every 10 days or so. I have tried many top rated spot treatments including Dermadoctor, Dennis Gross, Kate Somerville and a few others. For me, this has worked well as part of my skin care regimen (salicylic acid 2% during the day and prescription azelaic acid at night + mild washes, moisturizers, sunscreen, french green clay, gentle exfoliation product...am I missing anything?) to reduce the severity of breakouts and to help control breakouts. A thin layer to the affected areas, as specified in the instructions for use is all that is needed otherwise this product can prove overly drying. The price is right and I am on my third tube. As of right now, I would not want to be without this product!

Adult acne - 9/19/2008 9:22:05 AM I have had severe acne since age 11; I am now 44 and still have very oily skin and acne. This soap is PRICELESS for adults like me with persistent skin issues and very thick, sallow skin. I have never experienced any over-drying effects or irritation. I use it in combination with a prescription acne gel/topical antibiotic, (and the PanOxyl gel for the especially stubborn "break out.") I can only get this product at Skinstore (no pharms/stores in my area stock it) and it is the item I come back to order again and again!
