Caudalie Paris offers products that avoid harsh chemicals, artificial colorants, chemical preservatives, synthetic fragrance and chemical sunscreens wherever possible. |
The history of CAUDALIE is like no other. It is a love story. The story of a family. A romantic tale of passion and dedication. A love affair with the land and a partnership with the fruit of the vine.
It began in 1993 when the future founders of CAUDALIE, a young couple named Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas, met the eminent Dr Vercauteren from the Faculty of Pharmaceutics at Bordeaux University on the estate of Château Smith Haut Lafitte. The revelation Dr Vercauteren (President of the Worldwide Polyphenol Group) made would open the way to a new approach to skincare. He had discovered that the grape seeds discarded at the end of the grape harvest contained powerful anti-aging properties.
These grape-seeds contain polyphenols which, once stabilized, have priceless benefits for the skin. The anti-oxidants contained in the grape-seed polyphenols have an incredible capacity to fight free radicals, and therefore fight ageing. The free-radical protection from grape-seed polyphenols is unequalled in the plant world. With the experience of wine making behind them and a patented, stabilized grape-seed polyphenol, CAUDALIE was born.
Since this encounter and several registered patents later, CAUDALIE skincare, the expert and pioneer in vine-based active substances, has traveled around the world and become a favorite of the stars, the press and consumers. Today the CAUDALIE vision is a way of life. From one surprise to the next, from innovation to patent, from skin care products to VINOTHERAPIE spas, CAUDALIE has claimed its place.

Thank you...
"I thought I'd tried everything to clear up my daughter's problem acne. Not even my Dermatologist was able to help. Then, I went to your web site. The Clinac O.C. you recommended did the trick. Thank you."
