Wash, re-wash and you'll see how good this works! -

I don't consider myself a heavy make-up wear-er, however, I do layer (if this makes sense). I use the PUR minerals line so starting with their cc cream, then an oil balancing powder, then foundation powder, it seems like a lot, but by the time I'm done, you can't tell I'm wearing make-up. Point being though, it's still more than 1 layer on my face so washing my face can be mighty colorful. I wear eyeliner and that alone is a bear to get off. So my typical routine was using some extra-virgin olive oil and then a cleanser and viola! all make up is gone...or so I thought.
I did my typical routine and then used this. Uh-oh! Really? That's what was still left on my face!?
I have gone to just using this, but the problem is, it stained the brush rather quickly, so I still do a pre-wash to get most of my gunk off and finish with this. In the morning, I just use this alone with no pre-wash. It's quick, easy, gentle a really, a no-brainer.
I'm not in-love with the smell of the acne wash, but I won't say it's offensive either. It's just not my fave. And, I don't have typical acne issues, but more like occasional cystic acne, which salicylic acid just doesn't work on. So, I can't say I'll buy the wash again, but it might work fabulously for those who have normal break-outs. It's not a thick/foamy wash, but I'm learning that doesn't matter. A little goes along way.
The brush itself is worth every penny. The two bottles of wash were great additions...just wish I would've tried the wash before getting such a large amount :) Not enough to say this product isn't good because it's fab - I just prefer the deep pore cleanser over this one!
