Not for fine hair

I love many items from this brand but unfortunately this is not one of them. I have fine hair and I love the volumizing rose paste. Thus, I hoped that the conditioner from this same line would work for my hair, but everytime I used it my hair was flat and lifeless. It didn't matter how much I rinsed my hair after applying it either. The result was always the same. I will just use the volumizing paste and stick to a normal conditioner.

Love the results, hate the scent

My hair is very fine, but a lot of it so it has a tendency to just lay there and look like a skull-cap. I use volumizing products daily. Most 'volumizing' shampoos and conditioners make my hair fuzzy/frizzy, dries it out, and makes it fly away like crazy. Not this. Is makes my hair shiny, smooth and silky, while giving it a lot of body. Its thick and rich so a little goes a long way. The bottle will last me forever. I truly love what it does for my hair. So why only 3 stars? The scent. Fragrance is a very personal thing. I usually dislike rose scents, but can tolerate them. I'm not normally sensitive to scents at all. This scent though borders on disgusting to my nose. I have a seriously hard time tolerating it, especially in the confined space of my shower. It smells like a milky/creamy rose, with an underlying sickly scent, like rotting leaves or sludge that has been stewing for months. Seriously makes me want to gag. I'm going to finish the bottle though 'cuz the results are just that good, and I'll try other products from CR, but I definitely won't repurchase.

Smart Splurge

At 35, I had all but given up on "volumizing" products for my baby fine, stick straight hair and was getting it cut just above the shoulders to keep it somewhat bouncy. About two months before my wedding in June, I found the courage to try again and found the CR line. I'm so glad that I did, because my hair has more life to it while still maintaining nearly all of its softness and I can grow it longer without it getting heavy and stringy. My hair looked great for my wedding! I love the rose scent, too. Having used the products for a while now, I find that I go through about 2-2.5 bottles of conditioner per jar of the shampoo, so plan accordingly. These products are a splurge for me, so I bought about a year's worth while I could layer a big SkinStore sale with a big Ebate :)

Great Conditioner

I love this conditioner - it creates volume but does not weigh my fine hair down. After washing and conditioning my hair I use a leave-in conditioner for blow-drying. My hair and great volume and smells like fresh cut roses. It' pricey but worth it - especially if you stock up during a Skinstore sale.
