No Joke. - 2/6/2013 3:23:38 PM This is much more of an exfoliator than I'd bargained for. When your skin is screaming at you with breakouts, this is a great fix! When I wake up the morning after using it, my skin is definitely clearer and calmer. But it is intense and has a slight sting to it, so for me it's not an everyday-use product -- more of an "as desperately needed" product. But don't confuse "intense" with harsh - the Arcona products have great, clean ingredients, so I trust it not to strip my skin.

White mask - 1/31/2013 3:54:13 PM All nice, but natural filters leave noticeable white coat on skin, no matter how well you rub, so it can not be used without makeup. Under makeup it also doesn't work because it goes uneven then. If you apply some sticky serum first, it will make the situation even worse because you will get white uneven stains. Maybe natural filters are healthier, but the skin looks awful.

I can't comment whether it prevents breakouts as I was using it only 2 times a week (as recommended) but I think it has some positive effect on acne-prone skin like mine. Not a dramatic results, but sometimes my skin needs a break from harsh skin care.

I've tried everything from a-z over the counter, including professional facials that made the problem worse. I found this raspberry bar in Nordstrom with the help of a beauty rep who used to have similar issues with her skin. The rep's skin was gorgeous, flawless! She said she uses this regimen: (1). Walmart Equate Original Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes with vitamin E- to remove make-up. (2). Next step is to wash with Arcona Raspberry Clarifying Bar. (3). Last step is to use the Arcona Cranberry Triad Pads. (4). Use Clean and Clear Persa Gel only as needed on a pimple, use as a spot treatment, do not use all over. My rosacea redness and acne have disappeared, completely gone after 1 night of this regimen. I've been using this regimen for weeks now and my face still looks flawless. The raspberry bar and cranberry pads have antioxidants that make redness disappear. The facial towelettes remove make-up for a deeper clean, and the spot treatment makes the pimple vanish overnight. I use only the raspberry bar in the morning, followed by putting NARS makeup on. The other four steps at night when my make-up comes off. This regimen is the world's BEST kept secret! Amazing for Sensitive Skin - 1/18/2013 3:33:50 AM Before I found this product, I was hoping that the whole retinol thing was a major hoax. With this serum, my skin did not break out in cystic acne, flake off, or become lobster red. It was the most gentle purge I've ever experienced with a retinol product. I use it twice a week (alternating with Gentle Solution) and it has lasted a full six months. I routinely get compliments on my skin, which has never happened. You do need a SPF 30 or higher! Fantastic!

Gentle and Refreshing - 12/28/2012 8:41:28 AM This gentle toner is refreshing and removes the last traces of cleansers or skin care products. It leaves my mature, dry, sensitive skin feeling velvety soft. I find the fragrance to be light and pleasant but that is, of course, a personal preference. Remember to shake the bottle before squirting the toner out onto a cotton pad. I find that three squirts does my entire face, neck, and chest. As toners goes, this is a bit pricey, so I stock up during sales :-)

Really works! - 12/27/2012 9:07:14 PM I'm not one to use a lot of products & I like my regimen to be simple. In the past 3 years I've experienced breakouts and as a result discoloration. I use this product 2X/week along with the Arcona youth serum & Night Breeze. All three have kept me from breaking out and have decreased the redness & discoloration. I particularly like the Vitamin A Complex because it smoothes my skin and appears to brighten my face - like I have a glow.
