I wish I could tell you that there is a permanent cure for cellulite, but there isn’t. I can tell you that it is possible to make cellulite less noticeable, resulting in attractive, smooth thighs. I wish I could tell you that you can get rid of cellulite quickly in a week, but I can’t. I can tell you that with simple, consistent effort, you will be better able to banish those dimples and show off a vibrant, toned, youthful body this summer.
Step 1: Exercise
Exercise does help to diminish cellulite and prevent it from getting worse, plus the endorphins from exercising promote a feeling of well-being and contentment. When your body feels better from working out, you make healthier choices. Here’s how exercise helps to bust cellulite:
Step 2: Eat a healthy diet
Eat a healthy diet if you want a beautiful, smooth thighs. What you put in your body has a huge effect on the health and quality of your 75 trillion cells! Drinking alcohol, caffeine and eating too many sugary foods contribute to cellulite. All of the above trigger free radicals that attack healthy cells. When your body has to work harder to protect your vital life-sustaining systems, side effects occur like cellulite, fatigue, and disease.
Step 3: Use cellulite products
Use cellulite products daily that combine ingredients to dilate blood vessels, calm inflammation, break down fat, and firm the skin. Cellulite cannot be diminished unless the product’s active ingredients get to the lower layers of the skin where cellulite starts to develop. Products formulated with a liposome delivery system work best. Liposomes are microscopic spheres that encapsulate a product’s ingredients to promote better penetration of the skin barrier into fat cells and surrounding tissue. Institut’ DERMed Clinical Skin care CelluliteRx products were created by women, for women.
Step 4: Motivation
Motivation is the key to staying on track with your cellulite busting program. Many of us get caught up with excitement about our new plan or goals and then after a week fall right back into old bad habits. Why is that? One of the main reasons we fail is that we give up too soon. WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS. Think it. Write it. Read it. Writing down goals reinforces better outcomes. Use action words and “I am” statements so you can envision that ultimate desired result.
I hope I have inspired you to make the commitment to create the body you want now and a lifetime of health and beauty. Kick those bad habits to prevent and reduce cellulite. Making your body look great and feel great truly is a work in progress. When I slip up, I tell myself, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” That may sound corny, but it reminds me to keep going and not to stop. Take one day at a time and don’t give up on yourself.
