For what it's worth - 5/17/2012 7:19:09 AM I have been debating writing a review for the Mia because I also started retin-A about a week after adding the Mia to my nightly routine (about 2 months ago). I like the brush. I like washing my face with it and I will continue to use it, but only once a day. I think twice is too much. I learned a couple of things, the brush that it came with (sensitive) was still too rough and the Acne brush was much softer and worth paying for. Please use a very gentle and water soluble cleanser and cut back on other exfoliating products (AHA/BHA), since the Mia amplifies the cleanser and makes it easier for product absorption. It's very easy to disrupt the skin barrier while using the Mia! Look for signs of crepe texture, dry feeling but oily/shining skin and pulling when wrinkling the face. Be very gentle to your skin! But I would recommend the Mia for all skin types, even for the price.

Eh... - 5/5/2012 7:08:10 AM While I think this is a great product, I don't think it is as amazing as many other reviewers. If it stretches your budget, do not waste your money. If you have money to spare go for it. I worked for a major skin care manufacturer for several years and I've tried just about everything. There is NO miracle product. Wash, tone, moisturize with a retinol product and SPF is your best defense. This device is good at getting your face clean. My skin does feel clean and smooth after using it. However, it can feel that way with a good facial scrub. I have large pores and this device made no difference in the size of them, as I expected it wouldn't. Again, if you have the money get the device...if you do not have the money, don't stress out just find a nice scrub and you will be fine.

Requested - 5/4/2012 10:18:15 AM My granddaughter (14 1/2) asked for a Clarisonic after seeing mine, which I love. I felt it was a very practical and useful gift for her especially at her acne prone age. She is very pleased with her gift and if it keeps her on a clean skin regimen, it is well worth the price.

A Skincare Revolution for my Daughters and I - 5/1/2012 8:32:18 AM This is my third since Xmas, so now each of us (three girls) have one. Dont think twice - Get this product! It has absolutely revolutionized our skincare. I am over 50, my girls are 19 and 13 - It's for all ages. It makes my other products so much more effective, too, and within three days had made a huge appearance difference in my pores. Forget the expensive creams, etc - start here! Non-abrasivesive, no expensive products needed with it - We use Cetaphil. Quick. GREAT!

Clarisonic is a miracle - 4/30/2012 9:47:39 PM I have been struggling with Rosacea and terrible acne for the last couple of years. I've tried every medication and spent thousands on products and special cosmetics. My friend works with skin and told me to use Babor sensitive line and buy a clarisonic. My skin improved immensely with the Babor line but the Clarisonic completed my transformation. I have been using it now for almost 3 weeks and my skin has been smoother than it's been in years. No more bumps! The acne has improved dramatically. The clarisonic is my miracle.

Mia Cleansing - 4/30/2012 9:57:07 AM I have had splotches on my skin, and seen a dermatologist who did an acid etch or freezing on spots and told me there was nothing I could do, but that I had a DISEASE. I am considered very healthy - don't drink alcohol, or coffee, don't eat sweets, exercise regularly, and live an active lifestyle. But my face seemed more and more inflamed, particularly in recent years. I finally diagnosed myself as having a heat rash. Almost anything I would put on my face would irritate it. Not long before buying this product, I found a diet that relates to blood type. I discovered that a type 'A' blood candidates are not supposed to drink orange juice, eat bananas, whole wheat, red meat, mangos, almost all dairy, etc. So, I drastically changed my diet at the time I started using this brush. Both have helped my skin *dramatically*. If skin products are not working for you, I suggest you consider the effects of diet, particularly with respect to your individual body type. My Mia is gray in color. You may want to consider that the power light is not visible with certain colors.

Wish I had this 10 yrs ago!! - 4/27/2012 2:51:12 PM This is the best device I have ever purchased for my skin. My pores are reducing after 30 days, my skin is cleaner, less breakouts with smooth texture that is noticeable. I use a good cleanser in the am but then use antibacterial soap in pm and less and less clogged pores with less breakouts. Even my lines are smoother. I so wish I had this 10 to 20 years ago.
