In 1974, the company was formed under the name Cleor, which means the “Golden Key that opens the Temple of Beauty.” Experts from a variety of fields — beauty, medicine, aromatherapy and physiotherapy — combined their specialized knowledge and holistic approach to create innovative plant-based products for spas. In 1984, the name was changed to Decleor. Since then, Decleor has become the world’s largest beauty Aromatherapy brand. As a company that practices what it preaches, Decleor has worked toward preserving the ecosystem in Madagascar and enhancing the living conditions of the local populations since 2008.

Decleor is headquartered in France and strives towards offering products with a high concentration of pure and natural active plant botanicals, avoiding artificial colorants and fragrances.
