Unbelievable! - 11/1/2010 5:04:59 AM I had this product recommended to me by the skincare specialist at my salon. She had recently developed Rosacea as had several of her clients, including me! She made an appointment with a dermatologist tlo learn what we all could do to minimize the effects. One of the many things to do and NOT to do was to look out for several ingredients that aggravate the condition. OF course, I was using products that contained ALL of them! I purchased this moisturizer and its matching Redermic eye cream and have been so pleased. This takes very little to accomplish it's task so don't let the price scare you off. It's taken me 6 months to go through my first tube! I apply the eye cream using just a bit on my ring finger, I simply pat it around my under eye and and on the lid all the way to my brow. It sinks right in...so light and non-greasy. I then apply the moisturizer. Again, a little goes a long way and it sinks in quickly with no heavy, greasy feeking. To give the moisturizer a bit to sink in, I apply my eyeshadow primer. My the time I do that, the moisturizer has set in and I'm ready for my foundation. It has greatly improved my rosacea, which I did not expect! I was only thinking it might arrest the condition, not improve it! The fine lines and small wrinkles at the corners of my mouth have dimished remarkably. I also wear contacts and have had NO trouble as well with this OR the eye cream. I'm so pleased, I'm purchasinig another tube today.

GREAT EYE PRODUCT - 10/22/2010 11:48:03 AM I got a sample of this creme from my DR. and really had no plans of trying. Many years ago I used the vitamin c eye creme and all it did was put moisture under my eyes, not very impressive. The company has a hit with this eye creme,not only does it moisturize but you can see your wrinkles smooth out as you apply. I just started using so not sure if the effect lasts but at least I can apply make up over so I'm happy. Adding it to my list of ever changing rotation of eye cremes. I also have tried this with Avene's YESTHEAL+ over it and have even better results but can not apply make up over so will use when I have a"spa" day at home where I use my treatment masques.

Not for Mature, Severely Dry, Hyperpigmented Skin - 2/10/2010 10:56:14 AM I have severely dry, hyper-pigmented, mature skin (age 50) but I have few fine lines and wrinkles. The severe dryness and discoloration began with the onset of menopause. I visit my dermatologist 2 times a month for treatment and maintenance. My dermatologist gave me this product to use 4-6 weeks ago after my usual product (Ascorderm Serum XCP) was out of stock in her office. I find that Active C absorbs quickly but it dries to a matte-finish that leaves my dry skin feeling dehydrated and dull in appearance. The application of the product is not "silky" or luxurious to the touch. It is, however, odorless and non-irritating even after a chemical peel and micro-dermabrasion. Compared to other products of this type, the price of this is one is more affordable. After 4-6 weeks of twice daily use there is no noticeable improvement in my skins hydration, texture and tone. Active C did not deliver the results I anticipated. In short, if you have very dry and mature skin this product may not be up to the challenge. If these skin issues are not your concern Active C may be just right for you.

Non-Greasy, Fast Absorbing, Nice Vitamin C product - 9/18/2009 8:19:03 AM This product applies nicely, absorbs quickly and is not greasy at all. I am only able to use this on my cheeks, forhead, neck. I have sensitive skin in the nasal folds, chin area and this product, like many others, iritate this area. Since I like to use vitamin c on my skin in areas that are not so senstive, I prefer this product because it absorbs quickly and does not bleed into the senstive areas where I don't apply.

Works Well with My Sensitive Skin - 7/29/2009 3:23:44 PM My skin is very sensitive these days (menopausal). This cream has worked well on my skin, no adverse reactions. It is non-greasy and absorbs quickly, leaving a clean soft feel. Although it does not claim to be fragrance-free, there is no odor. Cream is a nice base under makeup. My skin feels and looks better since I am using it. It is in a tube, so you don't have to touch the product that you are not using - I like that about the packaging. What I don't like about the packaging is that the product sometimes keeps coming out and is hard to control resulting in sometimes dispensing more than I need. A "pump" would be better.

not for me... - 6/16/2009 7:25:09 AM I bought this after reading such glowing reviews. But I have to say for me, it was just another greasy product. Vitamin C is known to be moisturizing, so I was hopeful this product would enable me to incorporate C into my routine but I was disappointed. I do cleanse in the morning with md formulations, then follow with DDF glycolic toner; I do not think this should have made me oily. Plus, I have 45-plus skin and excess oil is not a problem. I was not able to use it long enough to see if it lived up to its claims but with its happy customers it probably does. I would recommend using it at night. I use other product at night that I am very happy with and saw no reason to switch for this. Last: I guess I would not be so put-out but I thought the price tag was high for a 1-ounce tube. Maybe it is better for people in cool, dry climates. gmt
