It Peels....It Burns....Don't know yet if it works - 3/22/2012 1:56:29 PM Well I have latino olive skin very resistant to anything so I decided to try this product. At first nothing happened but after the fourth try it burned and peeled to the point I almost went to the Doc. I have tried it 3 more physical times but I have to be careful to not put it close to the days I wash my hair because the steam and the shampoo will burnt my skin raw. The last time I did it some areas peel nicely but others still leaves my skin stremely dry and raw. I will contact the manufacturer regarding what moisturizer can I use to manage a better peeling. If you are used to retinols and can handle it this is the product to buy...it seems like it could work, but for me, other than uneven peeling the veredic still out. I have not seen fading in fine lines or fading of hyperpigmentation. I do know it will take a few months but need something in top of this retinol or after that will help with even exfoliation and moisturization. PS. the face continued to feel very dry even though I have always have a greasy face.

Burns your skin! - 11/9/2011 6:02:33 AM I decided to buy this product after using the regular Tri Retinol Complex for a year. I figured this step up would not be a problem but I was wrong! I applied it the first time with burning and stinging. The next day I had major peeling and redness. I decided to wait a week before applying again. Same thing occurred. It took the week to end the peeling and redness. The third time I applied the product I woke up the next day to sores on my cheeks and burning when I put water on my face. This is WAY to harsh!! I would NOT recommend this product!!!

Very strong - 7/12/2011 9:10:35 AM I've used the regular formula before without any problems. This one is realy extra strenth. I use it for two nights , then rest for one. It works for me , but someone with dry skin has to pair it with a moisturizer .

This product is recommended to be used as an advanced treatment for skin pre-conditioned by using Retinol Complex or another retinoid product, containing a lower concentration of retinoids. Apply a single pump to face in the evening after cleansing. If a retinol product has never been used before, begin by limiting use to twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, and then advancing to each evening or as tolerated. Mild redness, peeling and irritation is expected when using this product. Daily sun protection with SPF 20 or higher is highly recommended during use of this product.
