Lactic Acid is used as a non-irritating, and naturally hydrating AHA substance. The use of lactic acid rather than the more publicized glycolic acid, is a safer, more effective alternative. Unlike glycolic acid, lactic acid produces no side effects when used in the lower percentages (5-7%) recommended by skin experts for safe daily use. This unique product also nourishes, softens and refines skin texture. The lactic acid is a natural humectant drawing moisture from the air to hydrate the skin's surface. (Cleopatra was known to bathe in lactic acid from soured milk to keep her skin soft and youthful.) This product is balancing for all skin types and is recommended for women and men from teens to mature adults.

Directions For Use:
Apply to face and neck with cotton or splash on skin directly avoiding eyes, after cleansing and/or scrubbing. Use morning and/or night. May also be used on backs of hands or other body areas for extra conditioning and hydrating. Especially beneficial for use on weathered or aged skin. For other body areas, pour a small amount of AHA Toner into hands and apply directly to skin.
