- 1/4/2012 3:08:21 PM I have very straight hair. My stylist adds a lot of texture in the cut. I use a cheap product that I get at CVS which has tremendous hold (Got2b Glued Styling Spiking Glue) and then add the Alterna Hemp to soften my hair and to add a lot of texture. Be careful not to use too much though because it can be greasy and weigh your hair down. A very small amount does the job well and it lasts all day. Bonus is that the product smells great and that's coming from more than a few of the ladies.
