The medication drys my skin a lot and I want a product that can provide moisture, but won't interfere with the medication. And this hydrating cream offers exactly the things I need. Also, I wish it was packaged in a pump I could hit with my wrist. I need to actually hold the bottle to get product out making it difficult to apply without getting the bottle greasy.

The best of its kind! - 2/29/2012 12:32:44 PM Note: This is not a powder. It's a sheer tinted cream-balm that can be applied with a sponge or a brush. These days most of us spend wasted hours of our lives searching for effective, safe, wearable sunscreen for ourselves and for our families. Considering that there are thousands of brands of sunscreens available all the time, it's frustrating that so many formulas cause acne, degrade in the sun, contain drying ethanol, enlarge pores, sting eyes...and the list goes on. I live in places where sunscreen is as necessary as wearing clothing. Major dermatological practices and companies in AZ and Southern California sell Avene products, and it's obviously not because there's nothing else to choose from. This compact provides effective sunscreen and makeup at the same time. It reapplies easily after swimming, sweating, etc. with no streaking or caking. Other makeup can be applied over and under Avene tinted compact. I generally need setting powder over this, but it does not interfere with reapplication. My only complaint about this compact is, as makeup, I use it up much faster than other bases. It's not highly concentrated, probably so enough sunscreen is used for protection. However, sunscreen is way more important than makeup, and, as sunscreen, this is stellar.

Gentle Effective Cleanser - 2/29/2012 6:14:03 AM This cleanser is very gentle yet effective, it leaves your face feeling clean and comfortable. It does not sting or irritate the skin, and it does not clog pores or cause breakouts. If you have very oily skin or wear heavy make-up then this cleanser may not be for you, but I would definately recommend it for all other skin types and light make-up removal.

- 2/28/2012 2:18:01 PM I have a month using the retrinal plus at night, today a was looking at a picture i took of myself (washface) that was on the beginning of december 2011, and i can tell now, that my skin has improved a lot since im using these products. Sometimes my skin feels very dry so i started putting some nourishing cream after my retrinal, and i feel no more dryness . I highly recomend the retrinal plus. And i will sure continue to use the avene products. I think they are fantastic

I love Avene and everything they make has worked wonderfully with my skin. When the regular 'creme' was not enough, I started to use this. It has been great! No dry flaky skin by the end of the day and my skin looks much brighter and less tortured.

- 2/8/2012 2:22:34 PM I love this product,i started using Ystheal plus (but it was too soft for my skin) so i changed to eluage and have been using it since december, i use eye contour eluage with eluage for my face and apply a sunblock (la roche 50 anthelios xl) before going to work, its so good i dont have to use makeup because the skin looks fresh,soft and healthy, at night i apply the Retrinal plus 0.1 of avene with the eluage eye contour and use the eluage for my neck, it takes around two weeks to get your skin to be adapted to the ingredientes but i highly recomend these avene products. After your skin adapts y dificult to stop using them.

ok lotion...HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE applicator. - 1/29/2012 1:53:12 PM This new D.E.F.I bottle they put this face cream in is awful or falty. It takes all you might to get the product out. When it finally comes out...it's WAAYYY too much, which leads to wasted product. I understand the reason and engineering behind the new bottle ( keeps the product sterile and fresh for longer.) but AVENE needs to come up with a better way of getting the product out. The cream cost too much for customers to have wasted product because of the bottle. Will not re-purchase until bottle is fixed.
