Good Lightweight Sunscreen for Everyday - 1/28/2012 5:13:30 AM I am a daily sunscreen wearer for about ten years now. My favorite brand was no longer available through SkinStore, so I'm giving this one a try. I like that it goes on very easily. But I'm used to a thicker consistency tinted screen that helps with coverage of the rosacea redness. I haven't had the opportunity to test it in hot temperatures, but due to the lightweight feel, I am concerned that it will sweat off. Will keep you posted.

Holy Grail of Acne/Aging Treatments - 1/23/2012 4:06:16 PM I have tried it (OTC and prescription, natural and synthetic) and nothing would work for more than a few weeks if it worked at all. I have been using this product for almost 2 months and EVERYONE has noticed a difference, including my esthetician. This is SUPER effective as an on-the-spot blemish treatment also. Unlike most spot treatments this does not dry the skin around the blemish creating another one. My fine lines are softened and pores are less visible. Complexion is even and smooth. The price is a bit steep but you only need a small amount, I am on my first tube 3 months later. I look at it this way: for the cost of a visit to the dermatologist + a prescription product that will dry your skin out too much and create excess oil you can use this and never step into the derm's office again. This truly is the holy grail of skin care. I can not begin to thank Avene enough.

First cream that suits my skin type - 1/17/2012 9:14:49 PM I have used Vichy recently but did not like it. It would stay greasy, I felt my skin was covered. One day my sister recommended this cream. Just give it a try. So I did. No regrets. I love it. it is very light. I have heard compliments that my skin got cleaner! What i also like that you actually squeeze enough amount of cream you need every single time. Due to that it keeps cream's content itself clean. I also love another Avene product thermal water! It's the best. I just ordered second one (10.5 oz.). My sister and I are big fans. In addition, prices are moderate. This cosmetics is very natural and very efficient and you see results.

awesome product - 1/2/2012 6:52:14 AM I love this product! I bought it due to wanting a non irritating retinol cream. I have used every product line imaginable- everything from MaryK to Obagi. Most products dont work or are too harsh for my skin. I read the reviews and looked up more info on this company before buying. I also got this on sale at the time. Great product! I feel my fine lines and overall texture has improved. My large pores appear smaller. I am so glad I tried this because I think have finally found a skincare line that works and is gentle. I also bought their hydrating sunscreen as you will need when using this product.

I have tried almost everything imaginable, including the Obagi line. Most products just don't work or are just too harsh and irritate my skin. I have sensitive skin and tried this on a whim and I love it! I feel my lines and wrinkles are softer. Looking forward to using some of the other products.

If you truly have highly reactive skin-DO NOT GET - 12/24/2011 6:51:11 AM My Mom ordered this for me..I have super super sensitive skin and have tried every cream from low end to high end and upwards of $300+ creams for highly allergic/sensitive skin. This was recommended by my Dermatologist. My skin is so sensitve I cannot wear makeup nor even use a cleanser for my skin, only pure water. My skin was not irritated when I started this product. Just dry and tight feeling with my naturally very pale skin. I had been using a very very expensive prescription on my face to keep skin calm after a huge reaction to another product and my Derm said to get this for daily use, it was his last resort for my skin. This is my 3rd Dermatologist also and all have exhausted all their options. By day 3 morning (2 days of 2 applications each day on non irritated skin) - I woke and it looks like I fell asleep at the beach, blistered, bright red & burns/itches/peeling and sores (open sores). Had to go to ER because of it (cost me $150 for the Emergency Room and 5 hours because they had to give me IV antibiotics due to open sores). Cannot return due to accidentally losing receipt (only $30 with shipping so I don't care). My final opinion- I wouldnt buy if you are sensitive in the least. Now all of my Christmas photos this year will have me with a face covered in bright red. My skin color when not irritated is a pale ivory color. Thank you for ruining my holiday Avene. In my picture you simply do not get full effect but imagine my skin normally ivory in color and now it looks like I have Rosacea and I do not have that. The doctors have no advice for me now at this point.
