Many of our customers ask us for specific products to meet their skin care requirements. From sensitive, acne-prone, or aging skin, we have offered real skin saving solutions. Among the top concerns would be finding the right eye cream. We all want to know what is new and hot, but more importantly we want to know what works! From creams to serums we carry something for everyone. Your main concerns have been smoothing deep wrinkles, decreasing crow’s feet and fighting dryness and dehydration. We hope these suggestions will narrow your search and help open your eyes to some new and effective ways to treat your needs and concerns.  Serums vs. Creams: What is the difference and who should be using what?   Serums allow for the product to readily penetrate and absorb into your skin. They are great for all skin types because they are light weight, non greasy, and are non irritating. From the most sensitive skin types, to those who have oily skin will benefit from eye serums. If your under eye area needs additional hydration, you can layer the serum with a thicker eye cream. Serums are great to use in the morning, while creams you may like for evening. One serum worth mentioning is the EmerginC Vitamin C Eye Serum. It is lightweight in texture and helps to reduce puffiness and fine lines. Its high content of vitamin C makes this eye serum an appealing antioxidant-rich product for all skin types.  Sensitive Eye Types:   If your eyes are sensitive you most likely have tried several products and have experienced irritation. Your eyes usually become itchy, red, and blood shot. You find yourself wondering why bother with eye creams, if it makes your eye area look worse right?  The ingredients in some eye creams can be a bit harsh, especially for contact lens wearers. The trick is to find an eye cream specifically formulated for sensitive skin. A line that our customers seem to like is Osmotics.  Osmotics uses blue copper to help heal and nourish dry sensitive skin. Try Osmotics Blue Copper 5 Firming Eye Repair. This blue copper eye cream has a luxurious gel cream texture that instantly soaks into your skin with no irritationAside from the product being great for sensitive skin types, it also has firming benefits. It will also help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Another recommendation for sensitive skin is the Avene Soothing Eye Contour Cream. This helps to hydrate and soothe the eye area. It also works great if you have under eye puffinessdue to allergies or lack of sleep. Let’s be honest most, of us could use a little pick me up in that area.  Post-Procedure Care:   If you have recently had cosmetic eye surgery and need an eye treatment that is soothing and hydrating we suggest B. Kamins Therapeutic Eye Cream. This product will help with any bruising and dark circles. It contains Vitamin K and Vitamin C to strengthen capillaries and neutralize any color differences in the skin. There is also copper and zinc to speed up the healing process. It is safe to use for all skin types and is very calming to the delicate skin around the eye area. B. Kamins makes a post procedure recovery kit that contains the eye cream as well as a cleanser, skin booster, moisturizer, and sunscreen.  The Wrinkle Fighters:   Everyone wants to know what the best anti-wrinkle cream for the eye area is. Do you have those annoying lines that never seem to go away around your eye area? You want instant results because you have an event to attend and need to look your best. In this case you may like the Perricone MD Ceramic Eye Smoother. This little wonder contains ceramic microspheres to fill in the lines around the delicate eye area. Also containing anti-aging and anti-redness ingredients to prevent further lines and soothe the eye area. Another eye cream that’s a staff favorite is the Freeze 24/7 Anti-Aging Eye Serum. This is an instant lift and de-puff eye serum, that tones the eye area and reduces lines. It is a less abrasive alternative to botox that a lot of customers prefer. Freeze 24/7 products are instant gratification at its finest!   If we are going to talk about a wrinkle cream for the eye area then we must mention the Strivectin SD Eye Cream. This is definitely a popular favorite among our customers. The original formula was used to treat stretch marks on the body, then turned into an anti-wrinkle treatment for the face, neck and décolleté. This formula is similar to that of the regular SD, but does not contain any aromatic fragrances like peppermint, that would be too stimulating for the eye area. It has proven to be an effective wrinkle fighter, as well as reducing the appearance of dark circles. It is beneficial to use the SD in conjunction with the eye treatment for an overall smoother appearance of the skin.  Eye Treatment “Wall of Fame”:
