Carol Cole and her daughters, Tera Peterson and Kim Morales, created NuFACE to respond to a demand for skincare devices. Carol, a licensed aesthetician, began her career in 1985 at the famed Golden Door destination spa in Escondido, CA. While administering treatments at the spa, Carol saw an opportunity to help her clients without a weekly visit to the establishment. After hearing common anti-aging concerns from her clients, Carol started specializing in microcurrent facials and traveled weekly across Hollywood to personally treat the starlets of her time. However, upon realizing that her clients will need more frequent microcurrent treatments, Carol and her daughters launched NuFACE in 2005 to bring portable skincare devices home.
Fast forward to today, NuFACE is the leader in at-home beauty devices helping every woman look and feel more beautiful. Using its flagship technology, microcurrent, NuFACE award-winning products are clinically shown to help tone, firm and reduce the look of wrinkles, providing both visibly instant results and cumulative benefits.

A Run Through On Microcurrent Technology

So, what exactly is microcurrent technology? Microcurrent is a clinically tested therapy treatment, and one of the hottest innovations in the anti-aging industry. It is used in top spas and medical offices for facial contouring, toning and firming of aging skin. Microcurrent is a low-level current that mimics the body’s natural current and can provide both instant and cumulative anti-aging results. Because microcurrent works sub-sensory, the treatment is soothing and most clients feel nothing at all.

Why it’s Crucial for Advanced Skincare

Microcurrent is essential to any skincare routine because it’s the one solution that treats your skin at every level, all the way to the muscle, and not just the 5% of skin on top. Think about your skincare products as the nutrition that supports healthy skin topically and microcurrent as exercise, keeping your skin and muscles toned and firm from the inside out.

Finding and Improving Skin Solutions

Every NuFACE device uses gentle microcurrent, but each is designed for different treatment areas and skin conditions. The large spheres on the Trinity Facial Trainer are perfect to contour, lift and firm your neck, cheeks, jowls, and forehead whereas the ELE attachment for Trinity is a precise treatment for eyes and lip helping treat laugh lines, crow’s feet, and lines between your brows – you need a smaller sphere to work with the smaller muscles. You can even use the ELE to pop your brows and plump your lips. Plus, they just launched the NuFACE FIX, the perfect step to finish every NuFACE treatment. FIX instantly smooths, firms and tightens fine lines and wrinkles around your eyes, mouth, and forehead. So while the Trinity and ELE stimulate your skin all the way to the muscle, FIX works at the surface giving you quick, instant results. And it’s the size of a pen so you can take it everywhere.Continuing a family business and legacy, we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the upcoming years with skincare devices and NuFACE.
