Fourth Of July Party Hosting Tips

Fourth Of July Party Hosting Tips

With the fourth of July just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to brush up on your hosting skills to make sure your fourth of July party is one to remember. From red, white and blue decorations to festive desserts; we’ve got you covered to help you throw the best independence day party your guests have ever attended.

Dress up your house

It’s the small touches that make all of the difference at a fourth of July party. Decorate your house with a red, white and blue theme to get your guests feeling patriotic from the moment they walk through the door. From balloons to bunting; you can never have too many decorations up to celebrate the fourth of July.

Make it sweet

You can never go wrong with a table of candy at a party, allowing your guests to dig in as they please. Get some glass mason jars and layer them up with red, white and blue candy to truly get into the fourth of July spirit. Not only will your guests love this little touch; it’ll also add to your fourth of July décor- a winner all around!

Say it with Cake

No celebration is complete without a big slice of cake. Wow your guests with a fourth of July-themed cake to leave your guests feeling truly patriotic… and full! If you’re not a whizz in the kitchen, then make sure you commission your cake well in advance; the best bakers get booked up quickly so make sure you don’t miss out!

Get your pets involved too

Fourth of July celebrations aren’t limited to humans- get your pets involved in the fun too! Dress your dog up with an American Flag bandanna to have your guests gushing over your dog all day long, not only will your pup love the attention; it’ll give you some free time to tend to your guests too!

Themed drinks

The key to being a good host is always making sure your guests’ drinks are topped up. Serve up some red, white and blue drinks to go along with your patriotic theme. Blueberries and cranberry juice are the perfect ingredients to add to a fourth of July cocktail to really wow your guests.

As delicious as it is pretty, this fancy sparkling cocktail was made for celebrating. (Who doesn't love a good champagne floater?) Ingredients: 1/3 cup blueberries (plus extra for a fancy blueberry swizzle stick) 6-8 leaves fresh mint 1 tablespoon sugar in the raw (I’m into slightly tart cocktails, but feel free to add an extra teaspoon or two of sugar if you like a sweeter drink.) 2½ tablespoons fresh lime juice 2 ounces light rum Crushed ice 2 ounces chilled Prosecco or champagne Preparing your Blueberry Mojito Royale: -Place the blueberries, mint leaves, sugar, and lime juice in a glass. (I recommend a 12-ounce glass or mason jar, but you can obviously use whatever you like.) ▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫ 🔴If you want to by fantastic 🔝Cocktail 👕 T-SHIRTS and hoodies, Check the link in my bio (profile) @best_cocktail_ 🌍 International shipping! ✈ 💯 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed!
