Perfect sunscreen for your daily routine

I wish I knew about this sunscreen sooner! I have sensitive skin, have gone through product after product to find anything to not Make my skin break out. This product is ultra gentle, feels super great on my skin and under makeup, light in texture, and doesn’t smell terrible. If you’re looking for a staple this is it.

I liked this sunscreen but I don't think it lived up to the hype. I didn't find it the best for acne-prone skin because it makes your face very shiny/oily looking, so unless you're going to put foundation on top of it, your skin will look oily. It soaked in and worked fine, though.

Perfect pump

I love this sunscreen! We don’t talk about the amount of sunscreen we’re using enough and this is the first sunscreen in a pump that actually puts out enough product in one pump! I’m also very picky about sunscreen as I have rosacea and combination skin. This sunscreen doesn’t make me shiny but it does give me some glow and never clings to dry patches. I haven’t experienced a white cast even with the huge amount of product that dispenses with each pump. So happy!

Great SPF

I have been on an SPF kick and have recently made the conscious decision to buy specific SPF face products as a priority opposed to only purchasing a makeup product with SPF, for example. I did a lot of research and purchased both Colorscience and Elta MD. Both products rock, in their individual ways. I absolutely love the formulation of the Elta MD products and protection level makes the great price point so worth it! No white cast, easy blendability and great absorbtion. I've had no problem wearing alone or under makeup. Would definitely purchase again!

Amazing Sunscreen!!

I could not recommend this sunscreen more!! I was a go-to Dermalogica sunscreen person, and while I still do love it, this Elta MD Product feels more smooth on my skin and has a thicker consistency making it good for the upcoming Winter months. Though I have never tried the tinted version of this product, I do apply Tinted Moisturizer afterwards, and once the initial white coloring from the SPF fades, it acts as a perfect base for makeup application. Moreover, during the Summer months, I am exposed to sunshine quite a bit (up to 8+ hours a day between June-August), and this product absolutely *saved* me. I applied about three times per day and it worked wonders. I cannot say enough positive things about this SPF!!!

Feels wonderful on the skin, but has a white cast

I love how the Elta MD UV Clear SPF 46 feels on my skin, but it has a white cast. I am medium fair skin ton. This feels wonderfully lightweight and fresh on my skin and absorbs really nicely - thanks to the niacinamide in it, it feels like a moisturizing skincare product on your skin. Also, it evens out your skin tone. Unfortunately, this leaves a white cast - not a strong cast, but enough so that you do notice that your face is pale. It has moderate shine - not a lot, but it is not matte, either. Due to the moderate shine and my oily T-zone, I need to blot throughout the day when I use this. I find that applying my usual liquid foundation with light coverage will get rid of the white cast. I tried using a light application of powder foundation to get rid of the cast, but that didn't work at all, I still had a white cast - so I will plan to use just the liquid foundation to correct for that. If not for the white cast, I would use only this on my no-make-up days, because it feels so lightweight and nourishing on my skin. Then I could go outside on my lazy days, without makeup, and still feel protected against the sun. Alas, the white cast mean sI still need to put on makeup, so I'll need to find a different sunscreen for my no-make-up lazy days.

`My new favorite sunscreen!

`I hate to admit that I have fallen in love with a new sunscreen, because I thought I had my holy grail until now. I recently got this sunscreen and have been wearing it daily for the last 2 weeks and I am sooo impressed. My previous sunscreen would leave me looking a bit oily and would have to tack on powder afterwards. This sunscreen layers perfectly with foundation and I could comfortably wear it all day with my lightweight foundation. Super excited for this to be my introduction to Elta MD as a brand and looking forward to trying other products!
