Beautiful sunscreen

My skin became flaky and sensitive when cold weather started. Indoor central heating made it worse. My EltaMD UV Clear is great , but I needed to address the sensitivity. EltaMD recommended UV Physical. I had no idea I would fall in love with it. It feels great, hydrates without greasiness and has the prettiest finish of any sunscreen I’ve ever used. I highly recommend this sunscreen.

Elta MD UV Hydrates well!

I've used Elta MD sunscreen for a very long time. I'm now 56 and can say my skin is aging well without many of the age spots that most of my friends who don't use a daily sunscreen and love the sun bathing do. The only thing I don't care for is that the tint gets on my white tee shirts and clothes. I was using one without tint but it had an ingredient that I wasn't wanting to use so I switched to this UV Physical one. I so wish it came in the white formula. I am looking to try the restore one they now offer. I apply 2-3x a day even if I'm in my house all day. The windows let a lot of light in. This isn't heavy nor greasy and works very well under my foundation or alone with a bit of color. My skin is dry as I use a retinol product and this creamy formula feels great to use daily.

My Favorite Sunscreen & A Good Buy

This Elta tinted MD sunscreen was recommended to me by my dermatologist to help with melasma, and of the tinted Elta sunscreens, this one is my favorite. There is a lot of product in this tube, and unlike the versions that are push-up dispensers, I can tell how much product is left in the tube- no surprise empties! I can’t say that it’s done wonders for my melasma patches, but it isn’t designed to do that by itself. I do like the tint of it, not orangey or pinkish, and it works very well alone or under makeup. One caution: it cannot be applied directly after moisturizer, or neither product will absorb into the skin- they “pill” and roll off.

Not for brown skin

As someone who’s pregnant and has medium brown skin, it’s been a struggle to find the right sunscreen. I really wanted this to be it. The texture is nice and does not feel greasy on my skin. Plus, it’s safe to use during pregnancy which was my biggest concern. However, I did not realize that “lightly tinted” meant for White skin only. I’m biracial (half black and half white) but this is way to light. I couldn’t even use it without my tan. I wish brands would be more explicit about this in their descriptions. Overall, pretty disappointed that I can’t actually use this product.

Not For Dry Skin!!

I wanted to love this sunscreen because it made my skin look so nice upon initial application but as the day would go on, it literally sucked all of the moisture out of my skin and actually made my skin feel like it was burning. I even tried it several times but ended up with the same result. Super disappointed!!

Lovely mineral sunscreen!

My skin is dry and very sensitive so I was very happy to find this all mineral sunscreen was not only great for my skin but the tint is also very light and blends well. It does tend to have a lighter and cooler tint than most tinted sunscreens, but if that seems to match match your complexion then I think this sunscreen would work great. Since it’s also in a bigger bottle, the pricing is quite good!

Love this product it doesn't come off till you take it off wheres great with face powder to set. I put on my morning routine then applie sun screen at then end of my day I take off with face cleansing blam. Five stars from me.

hard to clean

The tint is the best part of this product. But it's really nightmare when it comes to cleaning your face. I used cleanser then makeup remover then cleanser to barely wash it off! HORRIBLE.

My Go-to

I have been using this tinted sunscreen for years, both by itself and with foundation. It was recommended by my dermatologist and I have never had any issues. I'm not sure how it would blend with darker skin tones but for my very pale skin it works great and looks natural.

Great, lightweight spf

I love Elta MD's non-greasy feel! They have regular and tinted versions. With the tinted I don't have to wear makeup over it and don't have that ghostly look that a lot of sunscreens have. I highly recommend this lightweight product and the fact that it doesn't contain a lot of nasty chemicals. Highly recommended by derms, too!
