KORRES Black Sugar Eau de Toilette - 50ml

The name of this scent really attracted me to this fragrance, I was really ready for a gourmand, rich back sugar scent. However, when I initially sprayed it, I was met with a strong scent of the floral top notes. Way too strong and the warmer, more sweet heart/base notes were barely even there. I wore it out that day and every time I smelled a waft of the perfume from my clothes, I hated it. I let it sit in a dark cupboard with the cap off because I heard that helps with fragrances when they don't smell right, but then I realized I could spray it onto my skin to warm up the fragrance and rid it of the overwhelming top notes and (maybe both methods) it worked. I smell a sweet and deep black sugar with just the right amount of floral notes. The bad thing is that it really is a bummer that it only smells plain and floral on clothing because fragrances last way longer on clothes and have a better projection that way too. It doesn't last nearly as long on my skin as it did on my clothing. However, this fragrance was a steal as I got it on sale (and it's pretty cheap already) so I'm not really that upset about it.
