Not For Sensitive Skin
I’m on a 12 week regiment of .5 Retinal cream at night. I’ve used the 1.00% and it was way to strong and really burned my skin, I have a hyperpigmentation problem on my face and use this 3 nights a week The following day after using this I use Avery rich night cream. Be prepared to peel which means it’s working, but was told it’ll take 3 months to see any improvement. I’ve been using this cream for 6 weeks. I highly recommend Avene cleansing cream their line fir sensitive skin. It’s excellent.
Very Effective
I decided to go back to using retinol this new year. I have used Obagi before and decided to try it again even with the so-so reviews for it. It was just as good and effective as I remember. It's been a while since I've used retinol, so I got the usual redness, peeling and sensitivity that initially comes with it. After two weeks, my skin is now much brighter and softer. I didn't have any problems with the packaging as was mentioned in some reviews. In fact, the tube packaging keeps the product intact since retinol can lose its effectiveness when exposed. Next time, I will try the 1.0 strength because I think my skin can tolerate it, especially the forehead area.
Packaging is designed horibbly
The packaging is very bad. My first squeeze, the end of the bottle exploded open. Most of the product just exploded onto my counter. I never had this with the old obagi packaging. Not sure whats going on.
