Philip Kingsley Flaky/Itchy Scalp Anti-Dandruff Shampoo 1000ml (Worth $160)

NOTE: This rating is for the product alone; shipping was a bit of a nightmare. My original delivery window was October 10-12 but it wasn't delivered till October 19th, and by the time it got to me the box was nearly falling apart and the products were slipping out of their individual packages. I'm hoping this was a one-time issue, because SkinStore does have great sales and products! --- I discovered Philip Kingsley (shortened to "PK" from here on out) products while traveling in the UK, and was delighted to find the Flaky Itchy Scalp shampoo was finally able to soothe my scalp! I've suffered from a sensitive scalp since babyhood, and find many hair products sting on contact. I also tend to have a bit of a red rash and flakes on the back of my neck, along my hairline. I believe it's mild seborrheic dermatitis, but it's hard to know for sure. I've tried countless natural/organic shampoos (I'm usually very conscious of ingredients), but none of them have worked for me as well as this – in fact, many of them have further irritated my scalp. I've got medium-length curly hair that's never been dyed and is rarely styled, I exercise almost every day, and I wash my hair every other day unless it's a particularly strenuous workout. I apply this shampoo with a shampoo brush (seems unnecessary but gets your hair SO much cleaner and properly massages your scalp, which is great for hair growth), follow with the PK Moisture Balancing Conditioner, rinse very well after 2-5 minutes, towel dry, apply PK Scalp Toner, finish off with a couple spritzes of the PK Daily Damage Defense Spray to my ends, and air dry. When I follow this routine my hair looks lovely, my scalp feels great and the rash disappears! It's a pricey product line, but I think it's worth it. And regardless of any issues with shipping, I believe I did get a good deal on this product. Highly recommended!
