Replenix Sheer Mineral Face Sunscreen SPF 50+

I have used the Replenix Sheer Physical Sunscreen for 4 years and loved it. They have updated the formula and now it is no longer sheer, and leaves a total zinc white cast. It does not sting my eyes is about the only good thing that has remained. You know the saying, if it aint broke, don't fix it. This product did not improve with the new formulation. So sad.

I have used this product (original, in the silver tube) religiously for at least 10-12 years, and my daughters loved it also. It was perfect; the best on the market by far. This new formula in the white tube is horrible, and none of us can stand to use it now. It does not rub in and it pills up on your skin. Dear Replenix, whatever changes you made to this product, PLEASE change it back! This is not an improvement, and now we have to search for a replacement. When you already have a perfect product, don't mess with it!

This is hands down the best untinted mineral sunscreen I have tried (and I've tried all the 'best' ones on most lists). Lightweight, truly matte (not dewy or glowy or sheeeny just pure almost powder matte) on my combo skin and ZERO white cast (on deep skin tone similar to Will Smith). As far as sun protection goes, this is second only to the Replenix UltiMATTE Perfection tinted SPF - same quality but the tint gives the UltiMatte the edge just because it leaves the skin with an even more smoothing/flawless appearance. I use both (whenever Ultimatte is re-released) but tend to save the Ultimatte for special occasions and use the Sheer as my daily.

I really like it. It's light weight and transparent.

I had high hopes for this sunscreen but was very disappointed. The pros are that it has a nice non-greasy texture, and it doesn't leave a white cast. The con is that it pills SO BADLY. I have tried dozens of sunscreens, and none have come close to this amount of pilling. It left me with crumbs all over my face. The only thing I had underneath was a Skinceuticals vitamin c product. I applied it at the recommended 1/4 teaspoon for face and neck.

This is an amazing Suncream for the face. For the first sunscreen layer I use the replenix sunscreen spray called "Replenix Sheer Physical Sunscreen SPF 50 Plus". its the same as this cream, but its more liqiudy. I spray it into my hands and then I rub it into my face. And then the secont top sunscreen is with the "Replenix Sheer Physical Sunscreen Cream". I used to just use the "Replenix Sheer Physical Sunscreen Cream", but it didnt worked always well with my face creams. So if I use the spray first and then the cream its a perfect mix, since then I dont have any crumbs builded up!!! And I have the best protection against the sun, because its doubled! Then my make up goes smothly on my skin and it last the whole day. I used to have really oily skin, but now I dont have it anymore when I use this sunscreen, I think its because of the green tee extract and zinc. I love Replenix so much! Cant live without it. There is no white cast! Its the first mineral sunscreen with no white cast!

This is one of the best sunscreens I have tried. I usually use a zinc oxide that left my face white and greasy so had to use powder. This went on beautifully and did not leave a greasy feeling, Like another reviewer, I wish it came in a bigger tube, I will definitely being buying more.

This is soooo good, it does not leave a white cast and goes on smoothly. Leaves your face a little shiny, but compared to other mineral sunscreen, its no big deal. You can always fix it with some powder or something. Does not irritate my face, sits nicely. Wish it came in a bigger bottle :(

Normally I don’t write a view this soon but I was so impressed by this product I couldn’t wait. I’ve never used a mineral sunscreen that is this completely sheer and comfortable. NO WHITE CAST AT ALL! This is straight up Zinc Oxide and it will provide effective and robust broad spectrum protection. It doesn’t need titanium dioxide or other filters to keep it stable. The best part is that the product blends in flawlessly no matter how much you put on and with NO GREASY FEELING!! I wish it came in a larger size. Hopefully one day.

Very clear method. A excellent sunscreen with antioxidant. Straight to the point. One of the best sheer physical sunscreen!
