And the one and one half inch clip barrel is perfect for smooth, voluminous waves with lots of body and bounce. The T3 Switch kit base features an interchangeable Twist & Switch design that makes switching barrels a breeze. Just attach your barrel, turn the TightTwist lock and start styling. Not only is the T3 switch kit incredibly versatile, it comes equipped with T3 Rapid HeatIQ technology for fast styling and beautiful, long lasting results. And with nine heat settings, there's one that's just right for every hair type and texture. A powerful ion generator infuses millions of negative ions, to smooth frizz and lock and shine. With an intuitive Twist & Switch design, switching things up is a breeze. Just pick up the 0.5' wand barrel, 1.25' wand barrel or 1.5' clip barrel, then lock it in and start styling. T3 Rapid HeatIQ® technology delivers advanced heat precision across 9 temperature settings for lasting results with limited heat exposure, and a powerful ion generator pairs with a CeraGloss™ ceramic barrel to create a shiny, frizz-free finish. To switch barrels:
- Turn the TightTwist lock to vertical position. Attach your barrel, then twist the lock clockwise to secure it in place.
- To create curls and waves with a wand barrel:
- Always begin with dry, detangled hair. Hold the wand over your head with the tip pointing down. Then, starting from the roots, wrap a 1-2" section of hair around the barrel.
- Hold for a few seconds, then slide the wand out to release the curl.
- For looser curls or waves, tug lightly on the section before allowing it to cool.
To create curls and waves with a clip barrel:
- Always begin with dry, detangled hair. Insert the tip of a 1-2" section of hair into the clamp and roll the iron upwards toward the scalp.
- Hold the iron in place until heat has full penetrated the hair section, then open the clamp and gently release the curl.
- For looser curls or waves, tug lightly on the section before allowing it to cool.
