I've tried several times over the years to 'get into retinol' but each time could not make it through the dryness/purging stage of pimples, tight achy skin around the nose and mouth. BUT, I tried this product and instantly got to the points of results and no irriatation. I use it at nice after my water based moisturizer steps and before my heavy night cream. I've used pretty consistently for over a year now and I notice the fine lines around my forehead and eyes have reduced slightly and don't come back with dehydration. I noticed in the past when I was extra tired, hungover or traveling or generally stresed, the lines in my face stood out more. But using this in my skincare has helped my skin even out in texture dramatically and though I still have lots of freckles, my skin still seems clearer and brighter. It's like my skin just looks healthier all the time, even if I do get a few pimples here and there (from my birth control). Great affordable first step into retinol if you're new to it. The applicator seems to kinda swell with time, so double check for leaking before you travel.

The bottle came and it was leaking, probably because the lid doesn't screw on appropriately. As far as the product, I want to like it, but it's too soon to tell..... No negatives after a few days of use!
