Lather up with this iridescent shower oil. The product is not actually oil, but a gel that creates delicate foam lather. Don’t let the “shimmering” word scare you away. The tiny gold particles wash away and the skin is left smooth, soft, and beautifully scented. A soft feminine honeysuckle aroma lingers on the skin for hours after you step out of the shower.
This shower oil is also great for shaving, leaving no bumps or irritation, but a nice close, smooth shave. I’ve used it with a wash cloth, and a loofah, but I prefer the loofah because it created a nice foamy lather that spread evenly. I felt the product didn’t create as many suds with a wash cloth. The main reason I love this shower oil is because lotion is optional when I use it. I don’t suffer from dry skin, but some body washes and shower gels I’ve used leave my skin feeling tight and in need of moisture. Not the NUXE shower oil. It contains sweet almond oil, which penetrates the skin deeply and provides hours of hydration. Sweet almond oil also contains vitamin E, which is an antioxidant that repairs and protects the skin from oxidative stress. The effervescent scent really helps me feel calm at the end of a long day.
