The problem
A dry scalp, sometimes known as seborrheic dermatitis depending on the severity, or itchy scalp bumps, sometimes referred to as scalp folliculitis, are generally the result of inflamed hair follicles.
It’s unsettling to be itching your scalp in a meeting, or for someone to take your jacket and joke about snow, but rest assured a dry scalp is very common amongst both men and women, and most importantly: we can help! find chemistry
The solution
Sebum acts as a natural conditioner and helps to keep your hair soft, detangled and protected form environmental and physical assaults, so don’t over wash the hair and strip your scalp of its natural oils. That said, if sebum, product build-up and dead skin cells accumulate on the scalp, they serve as food for bacteria which clog hair follicles and disrupt natural hair growth (so go easy on that dry shampoo).
Balance the scalp with Keranique’s Micro Exfoliating Follicle Revitalizing Mask and Philip Kingsley’s Scalp Toner – a match made in haircare heaven.
