Works very well for oily skin!
5I have oily skin, with very large pores. I have tried any number of high end and low end products over the years. This is definitely one of the best products I've used for reducing oil and reducing the appearance of my pores. I did experience dryness and skin pealing the first two weeks of use, but it quickly passed. I also try to be careful when using the soap around my mouth. My lips are dry and do not respond well (increased peeling and sensitivity) to heavy stimulation with soap, so I'm careful to use lightly around my lips and concentrate more on my nose, forehead, and chin. Further, when I travel to dry climates, I increase my use of my Vita C Serum & moisturizer. The smell is not great (over-ripe fruit), but I've smelled worse products that did NOT work, so its not deal breaker. Lastly, I have more recently significantly reduced the amount of dairy products I consume and have noticed that this small shift has made additional dramatic improvements in my skin and significantly reduced oil production.

5This product works but the smell could be improved. That said, I am using my second bottle. I look for glycolic products because I have combination skin. Skin feels clean, pores feel tighter.

5This is the only cleanser I have ever used that significantly helped my oily, acneic skin. I have been using it for about six weeks with the Clarisonic brush and my skin looks better than it has in almost 20 years. It is less oily and I have very little acne. That said, I think this cleanser smells terrible, like rotting fruit or something. However, I have gotten used to the smell over time. The benefits of this cleanser definitely outweigh the unpleasantness of the odor.

1I was very excited to try this cleanser since I had read so much about this prestigious line, with much research behind it. It is a very mediocre product. I've used other glycolic acid cleansers for my oily skin that were all better than this. It hardly does any exfoliating that glycolic acid does in a good formula. It's drying to the skin - and I'm quite oily, and it smells funny (bad.) Over-priced, over touted. Md Formulations or Md Forte MUCH better!
